Mr.GrimMember
i do own 2 of the one spots but i can not comment on the other. my one spots are powering all of my EH pedals and a crybaby and a BBE Sonic Stomp. about 14 pedals currently on the one spot chains other than the two non EH pedals there all new and vintage mix. and dispite sum users reviews i get no added noise and or weak power. they work great, i just wish it would work for other volt pedals, my poly chorus, holier reverb and black finger need to remain with there wall worts.
Mr.GrimMemberyeah i think ill be going with the RIDDLE, and st.bede i am aware of all the old different wah pedals EHX used to have, and plan to purchase one or two when i can, but i was still looking for a modern EHX replacement for a wah, like RIDDLE or the Tube EQ with an expression pedal
September 1, 2009 at 10:04 pm in reply to: acuired new EHX speakers, anyone know there oregins? #101093Mr.GrimMemberhay electro-melx scratch that idea, ive decided to build 3 of my own practice amps with them. i have a cuple schimatics lyin around.
but does anyone have a schimatic to the EHX freedom amps or dirt road special? it would be nice to make a clone and stay faithfull to my favorit company.
September 1, 2009 at 6:57 pm in reply to: acuired new EHX speakers, anyone know there oregins? #101087Mr.GrimMemberactually i have no idea! i just look for great deals on any type of EHX gear i can and buy it up. i got all three of these speakers for $30! + free shipping brand new in box. so i couldn’t let that pass me by.
I’ve been looking for cabs for them on ebay but cant find anything, if i did i was thinking about using them with the 22 CALIBER EHX amp, just for fun. (small wattage speakers so i cant use them with anything i currently have)
i also am looking for a nice 15″ cab for a vintage Jensen speaker i have from an old Leslie 145 cabinet. (this, when i get a cab i definitely want to use it in my current rig)

Mr.GrimMemberthose are sum interesting suggestions Julian, and i agree about the Floyd Rose, but i actually have no probs with this one seeing that its only a single locking not double, and i had a trem stop installed in the rear cavity that keeps it in tune, it never goes out of tune. i usually prefer tunomatic bridge and stop bar, like a Les Paul setup.
and Devnulljp, i also found that website but you need to be a member to see any useful info, i just haven’t gotten around to it yet, plus i wasn’t sure if this could be the same as they’re speaking of because it just seems a lot newer than the 80’s, and the fellow with the same guitar with gold hardware is the same person i mentioned in the original post.
Mr.GrimMemberthanks for the info, while i was waiting for a reply i actualy was allready on Photobucket for the first time resizing pics for attachments…..lol….but i dident know i could do that!….thanks

but i guess i will have to take it to sum one to look at when i get the extra cash.
nothing on the board is labeled at all. its not evan green or tan, its almost a light see thrue grey, and the etching looks hand done like sumthing ive made from the “Electronic Projects for Musitions” book. all curvy lines not strait.
im no profesianal but i have done sum work. im handy with a soldering iron if i have the board labled and or a schimatic or wireing diagram.
