OMG wait! i think this is a V1 model! it has the neon light looking logo on an otherwise all brushed metal top with no other color.

can anyone other than the site below confirm this? im sure there right.

    http://www.pedalarea.com/small_stone.htm

i dont have a pic of my own to show yet, as i have not received it yet. (shipping)

V1 or V2, ether way i still would like answers to my questions asked above, thanks!

well i cant tell without having the unit in my hands but my guess from here would be:

just re-solder the loose blue wire to the connection tab with the solder on it (but no wire) on the jack.

    what the??…

the last post i did was the first time i used the quote option, how do you make there comment only in the gray and have yours be in black under it?

my comment looks like part of there quote?!

any way here is the comment i made to the above post:

    hmm…so ….hog-a-pog, or pog-a-hog?….no wait!…..The Phog!

yeah that sounds sweet, not only does the name sound cool, but it still represents what it does, and the name suits it so well, Phog can relate to the sounds it can produce!

As an aside, I’d like to see a MAGIC BOX that allows one to create sounds similar to Bill Ruppert’s effectology experiments in ONE fx unit.

It would be something like a SUPER HOG or MEGA POG. I dunno. Just musing.

very nice licks and style, but personally i would have added a bit of reverb or short delay/slap back echo to fill out the sound. when you stop playing in between chords it just sounds realy dry like sum one cut the power, a bit of a trail off would have sounded nice.

sorry i need to edit this and apologize, i made that comment while watching the video, and i had only gotten half way threw the first video when i made my comment. it was based on the sound in the beginning of the video before you engaged your effects.

the silencer just has a knob to set the threshold sensitivity in other words set the spot when it cuts off the noise and the slider switch is just a useless on/off button in my opinion, otherwise just use the foot switch….lol

well i guess ill admit that his last couple albums have been a bit of a sell out. and the guitars from Gibson and Epiphone only come because he has been recognized as a great, but im more of a fan of his from before he was noticed by the masses. his earlier work is even better, i swear he toned it down to be excepted.

and the “show off” comment i personally have to disagree to, he is a bit humble, be leaves in god, is a family man, and friends and family come first, he’s all about respect, and doesn’t care about shit if not. hes very down to earth, and has been him for over 20 years, i hate the fact that people judge him on how the media perceives him in the last 4 years or so when he got noticed by the masses.

for many years he chose to stay “underground” concerning his personal work (excluding playing for Ozzy)
it was the media that forced him into the lime light.

i admit that if i first known him in the last couple years, i wouldn’t like him, you got to get to know his history, Ive been there watching him for years.

but then agean everyone has there own perception, and as an example i respect every one for there own style but still don’t like them personally as sum thing i would choose to listen to, like Jack White that a lot of people including this site rave about. agean i respect him but hes not for me.

a cheaper than the HOG option would be the Cathedral pedal from EHX. i dont think its exactly what your looking for but it can do a very cool similar effect. look up demos on Youtube, there’s an infinite reverb option when holding one of the foot switches. im sure if you combine this effect with a volume control it will sound like what your looking for.

i strongly agree with Julian, i wanted to play out all the time, maybe not a rock star but be able to preform publicly at least. now a days i got a family and its hard to find time to do anything when there’s family , work, other responsibilities let alone find time to form another band.

so as long as i could find a way to make my hobby a money maker to support family, that would be awesome! like building my guitars or sum thing.

I’m 30 now and i went thrue the phase your in now at that age and it comes and goes, i wouldn’t worry about it to much.

things change a lot, ive always found that new equipment gets me creatively inspired, when i feel like im burnt out with nowhere to go. lol

yeah i own 2 of those mini mixers, nothing fancy but they come in handy now and then, i mostly use them to mix together signal chains on my pedal board.
