Mr.GrimMemberif the glue is strong and your worried about it peeling the paint off, use a hair dryer to warm the glue first.
i also like to use “Goo Gone” to remove any sticky residue. its all natural and i haven’t ever had issues with it ruining finishes, even on guitars. and it smells great too!
also for larger clumps of glue before using the goo gone, as long as your not worried about a vintage paint chipping off, keep placing the old (or newer piece) velcro on it and pull off fast, most larger clumps should stick to the other adhesive on the velcro strip.
Mr.GrimMemberwell the cheapest thing EHX has to offer is the stereo memory man w/ hazari, mainly its a delay, but as mentioned above it can do a lot more if you take time to explore, and i personally i use mine mainly for the looping function.
then there’s the 2880 but i think its discontinued, i think sum people still have it in stock, or you can get a used one on ebay or sum thing, but its very pricey!
or if you really are interested in the 2880, you could wait if your penitent, we all here in the forum assume its discontinued because they may release a newer version soon.
Mr.GrimMemberat 3:22 he places the distortion knob all the way down so you can hear it. this is the larger stand alone metal muff but its the same circuit in the Tatoo but with extra boost and separate 3 band EQ, but the drive will sound the same.
Mr.GrimMemberwith your budget you could get the Tone Tattoo and the Holy Stain. then you would have most effects covered that you need for now, especially for your style.
you would get distortion, noise gate, chorus, and delay from the Tone Tattoo.
and tremolo, overdrive, pitch shift and reverb from the Holy Stain!
Mr.GrimMembertry contacting “Wren & Cuff” there dedicated to recreating older versions of big muffs, i own there version of the civil war muff, they may know, they also make a copy of the one your working on.
thats if EHman or anyone els here cant help you.

December 17, 2012 at 2:16 pm in reply to: Possible solutions to dislikes about all the new treadle pedals! more ideas and feedback people! #118543Mr.GrimMemberanyone else have any other nice solutions ideas for this cool new series of pedals? please post them here!
no one can please everyone at any given time, and all though i agree with sum gripes about these pedals, they are an awesome new addition to our world! so instead of just bitching, how about we help each other find ideas to make them better instead of just complaining.
and maybe EH will actually listen to sum of the ideas, and implement them. they have listened to our posts and implemented our ideas in the past!
December 17, 2012 at 2:11 pm in reply to: Possible solutions to dislikes about all the new treadle pedals! more ideas and feedback people! #118542Mr.GrimMemberalso a salutation for people complaining about not being able to fasten there pedal to there board.
i just use a long piece of Velcro, about a foot or so long, stuck to the back of another piece, like you would make a cable tie holder. but long enough to wrap around the pedal and attach to your board.
that way it would be held in place for transport, and all you need to do is take 1 second to unstrap it during setup to rock on!
Mr.GrimMemberi agree with your argument on behalf of all the new EH treadle pedals, i think there great pedals but you cant hold a fixed position.
i have an idea that maybe EH can implement in future production of them.
well i assume it uses sum type of accelerometer, like a smart phone, to measure movement.
EH needs to add another axis to that system, so that when your at the position you want to hold, you can slightly tilt the pedal to the left or right and it would lock on to that sound, and resume normal function when again.
or maybe make the pedal pressure sensitive, so you can give it a little more force down, and it will hold sound position.
Mr.GrimMemberand can sum one please make a setting template for this pedal as well? like the ones made for the SMMH ect.!
Mr.GrimMemberHay there, had this pedal for over a year now, and i don’t think Ive mastered it yet, like the SMMH im sure there are many hidden sounds within.
can Bill and more people please share more settings!
Mr.GrimMemberI dont compleatly agree that all EHX is expensive or overpriced.
And if the Tatoo does cost more than its individual boxes im assuming its because they have tu use smaller and or more expencive components.
Mr.GrimMemberyou are correct, it is 24V, i am sorry i confused it with my Holier Grail.
