lol….no ..not human eye controlled. have you ever seen those night lights that can tell how much light there is and turn on automatically when its dark? well thats the idea, we use the same component thats senses the light, and the closer you get to it, the less light it gets, and instead of slowly turning a light on its acting as a expression pedal. so you dont actualy need to touch it, just how far you are to it, kinda like a ZVEX Fuzz Probe.
Mr.GrimMemberwell, like most, i find it to be very very to treble’y but EQ’d right it can make your guitar sound like a classic recording, as if it was coming out of a gramophone or sum thing, that’s kinda cool for recording or a second guitar in a song.
i found that you can actualy use it with the mole, and they will cancel out the extremeness of each other and you can use them together like a bass and treble on an amp, if you want to tune in a different eq sound.
i also like using the mole on guitar to give rhythm riffs a heaver sound/more low end (like the band Korn, tone wise not style)
but i found that it needs to be placed before OD/Fuzz/Distortion or it will just sound like mudd.Mr.GrimMemberhavent posted in this topic in a while, but i have one too now for 2 months, so i now have all 3 nano boosters

and also in reply to ChrisFFTA i am in production of a photo eye expression pedal (usable with most if not all pedals with an expression out jack) that i will eventually sell on ebay, as i see that no one is currently in production of one, but i see a couple people would like to use one and dont know how to make one.
Mr.GrimMemberi must say this ring setting option was news to me, and i tried it out and sure enough, its there and kinda neat. but i as well do get a volume drop , same as when i use the looper, but when used as just a delay pedal, there is no drop.
Mr.GrimMemberi must say that strap locks are a definite necessity when it comes to investing in your axe, weather it be worth $50 or $5000.
i replace all strap buttons with them immediately, i don’t a quire a new guitar without also getting locks for them!
i use Dunlop or Schaller, they are slightly different in the way they “clip on” but installation is rather the same. i used Dunlop mostly in the past, but have recently been favoring the Schaller ones.
on most guitars the glue and toothpick scenario is rarely needed. but when it is your only filling in the hole a bit, so removing the material later really isn’t an issue, so i don’t feel that im modding the instrument at all, plus the added protection is very much worth the use of the locks.
Mr.GrimMemberwell first i would need to suggest EHX obviously, not only because were on there site, but because there number one in my book!
second choice is, try the EH-Man’s own site! http://www.ronsound.com Ron makes true clones with sum optional mods, of vintage EH pedals like Big Muffs ct…as well as other brands, in small die-cast enclosures!
third i would suggest checking out Devi Ever effects, i personally have not used them yet, but i have seen many youtube demos from her site, and they all seem awesome! there small boutique pedals with sweet graffix. (i know looks is the last thing to look for but they still look good) and sum of her pedals are based on other vintage units as well. also made in small die-cast enclosures.
Mr.GrimMemberhmmm….. try the flanger hoax, and for odd blips farts ect, maybe try the old EHX drum units, like the space drum, crash pad, super space drum…ect….then add sum modulation and fuzz to them.
Mr.GrimMemberhey Liberty Belle, i make my own pedals and those switches sound sweet, where could i check them out?
Mr.GrimMemberhmm a trem sound? i would think its sum type of motor in or around your house that the amp is picking up, like a dryer, a fan, or a heater with a blower fan. i think it could be sum type of rotating electro magnetic motor, look around the house.
Mr.GrimMemberif you cant find him in this forum, this is his website, check it out very cool.
Mr.GrimMembersorry i have not had time to open my unit up for you and take pics, but i am sure the wire you speak of is the ground wire, and the circle end of it just needs to be placed between the bottom plate and the rest of the box, around one of the screws when you re assemble it.
Mr.GrimMemberi would contact EHX in sum way, maybe you have it under warranty. you havent been the first person i have come across with this problem concerning the power jack, but yet it will work fine with a battery.
i think sumthin went wrong with a couple units during production and it should be fixed or replaced.the other two people i talked to (one here in the forum) had the same issues and side effects (dim LED ect..)
Mr.GrimMemberi must say that i think there is sumthing wrong with your nano stone. as you can see my current chain of effects below in my signature, i run all those i can with 2 one spot daisy chains with the exception of ones with higher voltage. i have never had the problem you mention. i truly believe the problem lies within the nano stone power, not the power supply.
try using the 9v battery adapter for the one spot, instead of the normal barrel lug, that fixes sum issues i sum times have, unfortunately with the new nano enclosures, good luck finding a way to run the cord out from the box without leaving the bottom off.
