Mr.GrimMemberMr.GrimMember
same problem here, compared to my Metal Muff (yes i know there two different demons, distortion & fuzz)
when the metal muff is engaged i get a slight hum if any at all, but when the double muff is engaged, i get a loud hum, like i went from volume of 2 to 10! i know there is noise to be expected from this type of unit but…wow thats a lot!!before i open it is there any internal trim pots to adjust this or a simple mod? (yes i know what im doing) id rather not change a pedal from stock tho.
Mr.GrimMemberi have thought this for quite a while but never mentioned anything yet…….
i dont think the size of the Nano -vs- Classic small box should matter.
i own many of both size boxes, and i hook them up using the flattest cables i can find (Hosa “pancake” style plugs) and after there all hooked up….they take up the same amount of room!
the space needed to hook the nano pedals up in between them on the sides as apposed to on the top or rear of the classic makes up for each other IMO.
Mr.GrimMemberyeah i like the art too, it reminds me of that dipiction of “man” i think is from Michelangelo, or sum thing from H.R.Giger……but actualy now i see its the picture they put on the tv when the broadcast service has ended way back in the day, with that annoying ring noise.
March 24, 2010 at 3:31 am in reply to: How can I get OE replacement cushion feet on bottom of pedals? #108762Mr.GrimMemberdont know actual facts, but i have many on hand for myself, as i always change up whats on my board and whats not. when there on i use velcro and remove the feet, but when there not on the board, i replace the rubber feet.
i generally just buy them in bulk on ebay, there exactly the same. whos to know?
Mr.GrimMemberi usually remove the rubber feet, you can buy the same ones in bulk on ebay and many other places, i keep many on hand!
Mr.GrimMemberIMO…absolutely!
Mr.GrimMemberwell testing with the electro distortion, since it has no other controls (it looks just like the diagram)
i tried to rewire to make it look like the diagram and it still dont work.
but i do get an effected signal if i run an extra wire from sleeve to sleeve ground on the jacks, and if i touch the sleeve and ring together with my finger on the input, but strangely it wont work at all if i hard wire it?!?!?!

Mr.GrimMemberi have noticed the gap as well, but its not a problem any more. its like a whole new instrument, it takes time to practice using it and getting the footswitch timing right, if done correctly i hear no gaps.
Mr.GrimMemberall my patch cables are Hosa and half of them for close interconnections are the ones you mentioned, i have never had an issue, i love em!
Mr.GrimMembersame here i got both, but you really need to experiment and see where it sounds best for your sound and rig, as you can see below my LPB-1 is about half way into my chain and my Sonic Stomp is at the end. that’s what i found works for me.
