my wish list of additional features for a 2880 replacement would be:
four asynchronous loops (w/ the ability to bounce)
movable loop points (ala Timefactor)
SD card w/ storage for multiple sets of loops
soft switches

bonus points would be some kind of tape emulation like the strymon el capistan
