Is the warranty transferable for a pedal (Holy Grail Nano) purchased on Ebay? It was originally bought on 9/16/11. I have the original sales receipt. Thanks very much.

modalmoodMemberThanks. There are so many types of Q-trons I got some wrong information.
modalmoodMemberSorry people. I just found the other thread where this issue is addressed. Didn’t mean to clutter up the board.
modalmoodMemberWould this be the better route to go?

modalmoodMemberOk. Thanks a lot guys. I’m going to take the pedal to my local hardware store and try to get them drilled out. If not, poster@sovtek.com emailed me and suggested I send the pedal back to EHX for replacement of the screws. But thanks again for your ideas.
modalmoodMemberNever mind. I did some research on the net and found that the MB ships with the US96DC-200BI power supply which is the same one recommended for use with the BMPTW so I think I’m all good. I can’t wait to try the pedal out when I get home. Sorry to bother you.
modalmoodMemberAs you can tell I’m a total novice electronically. Here’s a little more info. The Memory Boy rated as needing 45mA @ 9VDC. The Big Muff needs 50mA @ 9VDC. Would they use the same power supply (ie. the one that came with the Memory Boy.) Thank you very much.
modalmoodMemberAlso, if there is a battery in there, will it be bad to leave it in for the life of the pedal (remember i CANNOT get the thing open).

Ordinateur portable pas cherSpam again, this comment was originally posted a month ago on YouTube for gearmanndude’s Muff comparison vid. Sorry about these posts, but I absolutely hate spam. It’s entertaining to see what new tricks they come up with, though.
thanks mate, well spotted.
what’s with all of this spam lately? i’ve seen a few post like that before.
My mention of Gearmanndude’s vid of the Ramshead was not spam. I was genuinely trying to hip you guys to his demos. (Not that it was necessary!) By the way, is there any truth to the rumour that gearmanndude is Jack Black?
oh, no i didnt mean you. i thought you were saying that the other person was spam.
i’m really thinking that he is jack black, but i highly doubt it. but then that makes me think: how can he afford all of those pedals? How bout those amps? The Jaguar Junior is 2600! Not to mention the Dr. Z. Also, manufacturers are probably starting to send him stuff for free so he’ll promote it by doing a shootout.

modalmoodMemberHey Kit Rae! I gotta tell you I love your Big Muff pages. Awesome pix. And a blast to read. It’s great that you continually update the info. Keep up the great work. I’ve got BMP w/Town Wicker in the mail. Can’t wait to get it.
modalmoodMemberTo WatsonWood: Sorry, I thought you were mocking me. I have not tried the Metal Muff but I’m sure it is rad.
modalmoodMemberhar dee har har
modalmoodMemberI recently got a USA Muff RI and it sounds pretty good. But now I’m thinking of trading it in for the version with Tone Wicker. Maybe this is a stupid question but with the Tone switched off (and the extra gain this produces), will the pedal sound more like an earlier vintage BMP?
