Whats goin’ on Gearmanndude. Lovin’ that pedal that I got off of you! Can’t wait for the next one.
Ok, stuck on an island thing… what 3 EHX pedals?
MINGMemberMy Micro Pog adapter gets really warm too. I don’t get the burning smell though.
MINGMemberIt will have no problem covering those 3 that you mentioned.
December 30, 2008 at 1:21 am in reply to: Is the Muff Overdrive an exact reissue of the original Muff Fuzz ? #89811MINGMemberI thought it was an exact copy too. I have the Nano Muff, cool little OD.
MINGMemberGraphic Fuzz.
Cranked, its a fuzz. Set it lower, a distortion. Then you got the eq. You can even run the eq alone. So basically 2 pedals in 1. For around $140, thats a sweet deal.
MINGMemberQuote:I got the Small Clone a few months ago. I was origonally going to get a boss chorus pedal but when i played the small clone, it just sounded so much better.Smart move. I bought a CH-1 years ago. While, at the time, nice and versatile. Now that I have the Small Clone, the CH-1, sounds just ok.
MINGMemberI’ve gotten a few over the years. My most recent was with my GeOD. I usually put them on my music stand. I’ll look around for one. I don’t think I have one though. If I find one, I’ll mail it to you.
MINGMemberAwesome!!!
MINGMemberI’m really liking it so far. I think it leans more towards a fuzzy distortion. Nice and thick. Kind of like fudge.
I haven’t searched yet. I got the Russian in a trade. My intentions are to mod it.
Ned, do you have or know where I can read up on some mods for this thing?
My fav Muffs probably go like this.
My girl’s
Tone Wicker
Ram’s Head – Only played it for about an hour.
NYC RI
Black RussianI’m dying to try a Deluxe Muff
MINGMemberMine does this too on certain settings. A lot of my fuzz pedals do too.
MINGMemberCool, atleast glow in the dark knobs. The whole knob, not like the new MXR knobs, where only the line glows.
How about a plexiglass pedal?
MINGMemberI wanted one since they were released. Nodody, locally, carried them. After a dentist visit, I decided to treat myself to a pedal. The shop, across from the dentist, had one. They wouldn’t match GC’s online price, but I did a lot better then the original price.
I’ve been running it into my AC15. Gain around 2 o’clock, bias and voltage at 11 o’clock. Add some reverb or tremolo, you got early Stones to a T.
MINGMemberQuote:I got a Small Clone for $40 at a used music shop that replaced a $300 piece of “boutique” junk. What pedal did it replace?
I think the SC is an awesome chorus. I went from a CH-1 to this. Not as versatile, but a big improvement in the tone department.
MINGMemberHope you get one soon.
I got one coming in the mail.
