I’ve been running mine, with the adapter plug into my computer’s “power conditioner”. It has been really quiet. I’m mean really quiet.
MINGMemberQuote:Does your original switch have 6 lugs or 3 lugs?It has 6 lugs.
MINGMemberNo clue, I’ll open it up later tonight.
Movie-Time right now!!!!
MINGMemberLast night and after work today, I’ve been running a Big Muff into a RC-2, then into a Worm. Awesome soundscapes to be found with this little setup.
MINGMemberQuote:Here’s some advice:Best Chorus = Small Stone
Do you mean Clone?
MINGMemberThinking about picking one of these up tomorrow. Mainly for the vibrato.
Some one talk me in or out of it???I think I’m just gassin’ for a new EHX pedal. I want something not that common. I wish my local shops carried more. I’m a little too impatient for mail order.
MINGMemberQuote:Quote:Its a cheap Starcaster Chorus, its made by Fender. Bought it at Target, lol. It really wasnt that bad of a chorus until it crapped out on me today. It might be fixable, I have to mess with it more to see exactly whats wrong though.I didn’t know fender made pedals. what other kinds of pedals do they make?
Fender Blender, a phaser, fuzz wah and tone wah type thing. Back in the day, they made an oil filled drum, that made a spacey warble effect. It was called the Dimension IV.
MINGMemberI’m very interested in this too.
I love my BF, along with my WF. Though, with some of my guitars, I get a slight static sound when the BF is on. Did a quick search and found that some people tightened the screw, under the tube sheild, and it went away. On mine, the screw did not move.
I assuming that the stock tubes are EHX? I bought mine used and there is a set of Nationals in there now. I have some onld GT 12AX7’s that I want to try.

Just teasing.
I once went out with a girl, so I could drive her car. Hmmm????
MINGMemberQuote:hey Ming, do you remember when I posted a black big muff that I saw on ebay on hc (ages ago) it looked so cool….similar to that above but it was all black/white (without the red) …and a regular big muff….I really wish I had bought that now.I don’t remember that. I curious though. I’m gonna search for it. If you have a link, please post it.
MINGMemberQuote:Okay, I’ve been interested in this pedal since it came out but nobody stocks it around to test out. Riddle me some questions, but bear with me, I don’t play with distortion. Does it boost your volume crazy loud and hiss like mad? I’m trying to find something of a light dirt or slightly overdriven TS-9/Bad Monkey but “different” sorta sound out of this pedal. Can it do that with my Telecasters? It gets loud, but not too loud. I don’t get any hiss with mine. If I have all of the knobs close to max, I do pick up radio stations. I have a few other pedals that do this aswell. This is a light dirt/od, there isn’t much gain to this pedal. I wouldn’t compare it to a TS. You can also get that ripped speaker/velcro-y sound by lowering the voltage.

If it is him or not, he is really a good guy to deal with. Top-notch!!!
He gives a pretty un-biased opinion, which I like a lot. Someone like PGS, is not going to dog a product that they sell. Which I don’t blame them either. So it is refreshing to get an honest opinion.
