A “Conglomerate Merger” is a merger between firms that are involved in totally unrelated business activities.
Mike VDMemberI’d like an 5x mixer that works. Its a good idea but the signals get quiet when you have several things plugged in.

I have yet to receive any response from those Ampeg folks about parts for my SVT 4 pro. I send them emails regularly and don’t bother with there customer service hot line. when this thing burns out again I won’t spare a drop of piss to save it

That is a bummer. I could take it to my guy in town but I would rather send it in to the factory. It started sounding crackly the other day. The external trigger hasn’t worked since I acquired it and rather than plug and unplug it to turn it on and off I’d like to be able to turn it on and off with a volume knob so I can turn it down as well because its loud.
Mike VDMemberI’ve been using a Q-tron+ XO for the last week or so but I’m going back to my not so Mini Q-tron

I’ve gone with out so that I could have premium effects like Electro Harmonix. I never missed meals or was late on rent because I found a Boss Product that I absolutely had to have. In my opinion Boss/Roland makes the best chromatic tuners. Boss used to make the PS-3 which in my opinion is their best effect they have but I’d rather have a HolyStain any day. The only DOD pedal you would catch me using is a FX-25b. Any one got a beef with that? I’m as serious as cancer. If there was such as thing I would blow my tax return right now for a decent EH pedal board.
Mike VDMemberI’m getting parts together for my old Ampeg two 12’s and a big horn cab. It has pretty beaten up tolex and it needs to be rescreened but that’s no problem. I also have an old school Ampeg 4×12 walking cab it’s empty but is in great condition. I know a rep from Basson according to him Basson is the shit but he’s playing on Marshall Stuff. I told him I don’t need anymore cabinets. I want new speakers for what I have so their not taking up space in my studio any longer. I’m getting 2×12″ eminence basslites at dealer cost still up there but they won’t eat my lunch. I’m not sure what I want in the 4×12. What I really need for all of my 10’s is a guy in town that can repair speaker cones

The only Boss pedal I would be caught using is one of their chromatic tuners with a Peterson tuning contact mic. SKB shit box doesn’t exclude any shapes. Now that I think about EH doesn’t make a tuner. An invention came to mind just now. A rechargeable flashing LED metronome that shocks you if you’re off sync. Like a dog collar so that you’re band geeks learn to keep time and it doubles as a wrist watch as well so that they show up to band practice on time.
Mike VDMemberAntartica. I found used EH 8″@4ohms-14 watt RMS & 12″@16ohms-50watt RMS. I have use for neither & I want nothing to do with used speakers. What I need 6×12″@8ohms, 4×10″@8ohm & a 1×15″@8ohms at at least 300wattRMS. I know there are alot of other brands out there but their not EH and I don’t want anything to do with them either.
