I heard a rumor that probably is just a rumor. Is it true the first sovtek prototypes were constructed from recycled soviet military hardware, tanks, bombs ect?
Mike VDMemberThe EH Stinkin’ Tuna would be a cool a pedal I’d buy one
Mike VDMemberWe don’t need no stinkin’ tunas. There is alot of compition already out there for that market. We just need some EHX q-tips
Mike VDMemberThey nailed it with the Not So Mini Q-tron. Its called the Mini Q-tron but its not much smaller then the full size old model Q-tron. Its not as small as this Micro XO version. No shops in town has a decent selection of EH stuff that I don’t already have. So I must order one of these off the Ebay so I can give it a test drive.
Mike VDMemberI see them on E-bay every once and awhile for like 4 bones. Ask for Marty at RockyMountainHardcore.com that guy can custom make any vinyle or parer stickers, poster you want. His T-shirts are excellent. The logos are not just silk screened on their printed on to the fibers with lasers. Once in awhile I see my old bands shirts from the Prosthetic Heads around town.
Mike VDMemberI use my not so Micro Q-tron for bass it’s simple and you don’t lose the low end like you do with other EH filters. Unlike my Q-tron+ there isn’t a setting on it that I don’t like. The difference between The Riddle and Q-tron+ is the Riddle has more gimmicks you will never use than the +.

Mike VDMemberI’d keep it name brand loyal just so you don’t run into any problems mid gig. I once had my rumble bass retubed with EH pre amps and Ruby power tubes because I thought it would be cool to get rid of the stock Fender tubes. I wasn’t a happy camper a few months later when I had to spend another small fortune on having it retubed again. I havent had any problems with it since I went back to Fenders. When you do retube it change the fuses aswell. Only Fender slo blow fuses will do in my rumble bass.
Mike VDMemberThe not so Mirco Q-tron smokes em all
September 15, 2009 at 12:43 pm in reply to: Whats the deal with puting tubes in a guitar pedal? #101482Mike VDMemberJust a clever scheme to sell tubes for pedals that won’t work without them? Suckers LOL
