My 9.6 adapter that came with the DXMB is broken, and I just ordered another one. The DXMB is the only pedal being powered. I normally have the gain knob at 12 o’clock.

I realized that I have a clean signal when the DXMB is turned on, but it has a muddy tone when it’s turned off. Does this have anything to do with Low Cut mode?

Just so I understand correctly, when DXMB is in effect mode, it sounds normal but in bypass it is muddy?

Exactly. I just turned the Blend knob all the way up, and I noticed the delay signal also sounds muddy. The normal signal sounds perfect when effect mode is on though.

Do you still have the original power supply that you can try with the DXMB as a quick way to see if it fixes the problem? How many other pedals are connected to the 1 Spot, are any of them high power pedals like digital pedals?

Where do you normally have the GAIN knob set?
