The two trimpots in the bass balls control each frequency filter. Since the Bass Balls is a twin dynamic filter, you can adjust each filter and its frequency center
McHavenModeratorQuote:Hello, I´ve just got one too. My knobs seem ok, not loose or anything. My question is another: I´d like to use one loop as rythm, and build it real fast, so I can play the rest of the tune with that rythm. But it seems that the rest of the tracks all remain with the same length of the first one I record. Isn´t it possible to record longer tracks than the first recording, without it going overdubbing once the length of the first recording reaches the end? Thanks
Sal
I’m not really sure about that on the 2880. I don’t have any experience with it. Couldn’t you just make your first rhythm as long as you need it for the loops going over it? Say you need a 4-bar rhythm, with an 8 bar overdub. Why not just play the 4bar rhythm twice when recording it in? Then you have all the time you need for the overdubs
McHavenModeratorNot exactly the same, but a similiar idea is to use the RSS feeds, which I just noticed we had.
McHavenModeratorMy pulsar is awesome, probably works better on guitar, but damn that’s one really interactive pedal.

McHavenModeratorI don’t want emails about every post. Right now, I get emails about new threads in forums I moderate, and that’s enough for me. I am a strong supporter of the “go to newest unread post” idea though.
The blue/grey icons are fine, but if you’re like me, you don’t want to miss a thing. So, even if I click on the latest post on the right, I may not have seen all the posts before that that I’ve missed. Then I have to open up the sub-forum, and go and open all those threads and then repeat until I’ve read the entire forum.
Maybe I’m just a whiner, but I strongly agree with the idea to implement this. It’d make it a lot easier for some of us to be able to see all the information being posted.
McHavenModeratorTry and explain the situation and return it it to the seller. You don’t want to keep the Nano Clone anyway. Huge volume drop, noise and reversed polarity make that pedal a real pain in the butt to deal with. I’d just look for a regular Small Clone
McHavenModeratorQuote:How exactly can I get those general chorus sounds? It seems that the Polychorus does everything BUT chorus, and while I love the pedal dearly, and won’t be [deliberately] ridding myself of it any time soon, I am a bit confused by the name (should it not be able to do so).I know your a bassist from TB, so perhaps my settings can help you. For my chorus sound I generally set it up this way.
Sweep Filter: On
Then the rate, depth and tune knobs are set at around 9:00. This provides a nice chorus sound, without getting too big of a fluctuation in pitch, or too fast a speed. Depending on the feedback control, you can have a really warm low end, or add in some metallic sounds.McHavenModeratorI’ll be constructive this time.
In my experience with my Polychorus, I’ve found it to be able to reach a wide range of sounds. It’s the most tweak-able modulation pedal I’ve ever used. I’ve never searched for a Leslie sound, but I don’t think it would be too hard to find. I honestly don’t know too much about Leslies, or could even think of an example. I just tend to use mine for great analog chorus for my bass.
McHavenModeratorPlug it in and try it out
McHavenModeratorQuote:Quote:Here’s a mod for the old style Bass Micro Synth for true bypass. I assume it works just fine for the guitar synth as well. This is a drawing another forum user at Talkbass made, and my pedal tech used it accordingly, however there’s a mistake we discovered.
Now, where it says “discard” on that brown wire, DON’T DO THAT! Instead, make that wire connect on the switch where the green wire is connected in the diagram. Then, discard the green wire.
This is just what he’s told me, I can get more detailed instructions if necessary. Basically just rewire the switch for how it is there, with those 2 wires switched up.
I TB’d my micro synth, I shoulda done a nice diagram for people before I sold it. All you do is bypass the preamp that the bypassed signal goes through, pretty simple and to find out which wire to discard you just need a multi meter. I might redraw this diagram for people BTW.
It’s not even my diagram, its just what I had found and given to my repair guy. Feel free to redraw it.

something that incorporates all the drum pedals would be fantastic
yeah the space drum isn’t exactly exciting it just goes ‘ppeeoooww’ when you hit it!!!
That sounds like something I want.
McHavenModeratorSo my new delay comes in today (with photosensitive eye!). I’m also getting my micro synth back tonight, possibly getting my muff clone repaired tonight and I just ordered a LPB-1.
My name is Mick and I have a problem….
