Micro Q-tron works fine for bass. If you keep it on the “low pass” or “band pass” modes, you will not lose any low end.
McHavenModeratorI’m also really curious to see if these classic chassis pedals are going to be completely discontinued, or if we’ll just have the option to get either. If they’re entirely gone, I’m not selling any one I’ve got!

I figured as much. A bird with crazy plumage to go with a crazy man. 😆

McHavenModeratorQuote:Not on a daisy there. You need to get a real power supply with some nice isolated outlets McHaven. It’s the 21st century!
I’m not interested in paying over 100 dollars for a PP2+ when none of my pedals require an isolated output. The PP2+ can’t even power my Polychorus or Micro Synth, so I see absolutely no reason to spend the money on a power supply that won’t offer me any necessary features when the OneSpot perfectly satisfies my needs.
Also, GAS for that Mole!
Release it already!
McHavenModeratorQuote:Sounded absolutely the same to me, today in Frankfurt…no noise to be heard…
No noise on a daisy chain, or did it have its own power supply? If it’s noiseless on a OneSpot, I’d get one.
McHavenModeratorTypically what can make a pedal work better for bass is a wider allowable range due to caps. On some pedals, if that cap is changed to allow a greater range, it can work to muddy up guitar tone due to increased bass.
McHavenModeratorQuote:Quote:If your design team ever has some free time, could they think up a pedal that is just one (1) octave up? The POGs are cool, but I would love just a small, simple Nano-sized octave up box with one blend knob that goes from full dry signal to full wet signal. You could call it the “Squeak Easy.” That would be awesome.Maybe in addition to that, they could make a 1 down octaver.
Anyone else agree?
Octave Multiplexer.
McHavenModeratorMost of them all sound exactly the same, in my opinion. The XOs are just surface mount components, in a smaller more durable chasis with a typical 9v power supply.
McHavenModeratorNow, lets say I want to put this one on a daisy chain. Am I able, or will there still be noise like the older Holy Grail?
McHavenModeratorI love it. I also want that giant Vox, provided it actually works. I’d love to ride a wah like a surfboard on stage.
McHavenModeratorYeah, this isn’t meant to act as a review or anything, or even good soundclips. It’s just an opportunity to hear these pedals.
McHavenModeratorI just hate that we can never get a set release date from EHX. I waited ever so long before the Bass Big Muff to come out.

Mine gets pretty noises when you start cranking things, but mine isn’t so noisy that I would worry about it. Perhaps there is something wrong with yours?
McHavenModeratorI have no room on my board at all, but I could see a Voice Box, Mole and Soul Preacher finding their way on there.
