1. It has a click track that allows you to time your loops to measures, rather than just seconds. It gives you a 4 beat count-in before the looping begins so you can anticipate the tempo.

4. The modulation section has control over both rate and depth. You can get chorus, flange, rotary, and pitch bending warble.

6. If you have the foot controller (which is very hard to find, but the HOG foot controller also works with it), you can turn the modulation off/on during the performance. The modulation does not record into the loop.If you decide to go with the 16sec DD, ask first if the “4 beat count-inl” mod has already been done to the unit. EHX will do this mod for you for an additional $30 +/-, but the later models already have it added. It allows you to record a loop without the 4 beat count-in, like the SMMH, by setting the Course slider at maximum.
Also, be very careful with the sliders. They are fragile. This is one of the drawbacks of EHX pedals that use sliders instead of knobs.
damn sounds cool, but pretty much the same as my boss looper. those modulations to tracks sounds like an awesome feature…i’ll prob go with the DMM. thanks for all your input

4) Doctor Qlook for the devolt…i can’t remember who makes it, but you can short any 9v signal to any pedal. just google ‘devolt’ and you’ll find it…runs $20 or something. i have a germanium though, and it’s awesome.

mattcaseyMembermy bet is something came ungrounded. i was playing with it one day, then the next i had this issue even when i’d switch out cables. took it to get repaired though, i’ll let you know!
