Yes!!! The Microsynth is a great pedal, and would benefit greatly with some modern updates.
LouisMemberI’m still working on this, I get a more noise than I like.
LouisMemberI would expect that there would be an updated Microsynth some day soon. I sold my microsynth a few months ago in anticipation. I know it would be hard to get a good price on it when the new one came out.
I sold my HOG on ebay just 2 days before the Hog2 was announced. I got a very good price too, Im sure the winner didnt feel that great about it though.
On the Microsynth I would like to see some expression pedal control for the envelope and resonance filter. I’m sure they could figure out how to do the presets, if they can do it on the Hog, Pog, and the others they can do it with the Microsynth.
It would be nice if the sound quality was upgraded somehow, but more importantly if it was polyphonic, or at least a little more polyphonic friendly. The current one is monophonic, but on certain settings it works with double stops great.
Since they are changing the way they store presets I wonder if they will come out with a pedal that can store presets for multiple pedals, so that you could change multiple pedals with one click. I bet that is in the works.
LouisMemberSame here. Only I can hear noise with only the guitar and amp, no effects at all. I used the power supply that came with it, but I also tried my voodoo labs pedal power and it didnt make any difference. I guess if I dont hear any suggestions that work by Wednesday I’ll just return it. maybe I’ll make a video showing how noisy it is to help other potential buyers, and maybe EHX will redesign it
LouisMemberMy goodness, where are all the helpful people? I’ve posted a few other questions and no one bothers to volunteer help anymore. A year or so ago it seems that there was an abundance of people posting helpful suggestions.
LouisMemberThis one blows me away!!!! Would this work with Bass? What about if I had a Moog Minotaur? If not then will we see a bass edition of the superego?
You guys have out done yourself this time.
LouisMemberyeah, thats the one
LouisMemberthe second to last, the reissue one right before the box.
LouisMemberNo, I haven’t considered rack. or tabletop Any suggestions?
And thanks for the other advice, I look forward to diggin into it more. I’m sure as I read the Taurus forum at Moog I’ll learn more. It’s just I’ve always been a fan of EH so I wanted to exhaust my options here before I started buying more expensive pedals. I figured there would be many usable EH pedals that do the same job
LouisMemberThe standard boss style doesnt fit , it wont even plug in
LouisMemberI’m not sure… how can I tell the difference. It’s a lot bigger than the ones out now, about the size of the HOG. I see no markings in indicate model number or anything.
LouisMemberIs there a way to get the koto sound with other pedals?
LouisMemberI would like to see the a foot controlled envelope/resonance filter
LouisMemberYou might want to check out the Tube EQ as well. I’m not sure how it would work on bass, but it has a really awesome expression mode where it controls the frequency setting. I think it’s quite unique sounding.
LouisMemberI think it would be very cool if they combined their old 10 band with the Tube EQ. Now that would be rocking. I would like it rack mounted please.
