Hi, thanks for the quick reply.

I used a brand new Boss PSA 120 (and I”m an experienced professional musician
so I know all about using correct voltage/amperage/polarity, etc. when
    powering pedals.

That didn’t work and then I tried the One Spot that is the equivalent to the
Boss. I made sure that it was 9 volts, more than 200ma with a polarity of
tip-negative (like most stomp boxes these days) and I never used any other
    AC adaptor.

I also should tell you that I had fits with the pedal when I first bought it:

    I returned it in non-working
order (and under warranty) and they sent it back still not working (with batteries or AC adaptor)
so I sent it back and pleaded with them to send me a brand new pedal.

This took four months of prodding on my part. They finally sent me a pedal in a brand
new box but I have no idea whether they actually put a new pedal into it or not
(it was in perfect condition as I never used it out, once)

Now, batteries make it work but these adaptors do not (it lights up and passes
unaffected sound but the effect doesn’t occur).

I’m really frustrated because I really do love the effect when it works.

    What’s your thought, now?
