Talk about a thread revival …

Anyway, I just got a DMM (early 80’s I think – MN3005) and the same thing is going on as the OP described. Solder joints look OK, should I re-flow them just in case? I tried a different switch (from a v2 Small Stone) and it didn’t get any better.

Anyone else had the same problem?
