yeah he brings everything to their music…..without him they are pretty much a novelty band with an impressive bass player!
korgiMemberi love cheese!…
…so much, i almost feel my death will be some sort of cheese related episode.
korgiMemberits the ‘riddle’ all the way for me!
korgiMemberas far as the ‘freezer’ goes….you can already get these types of pedals (not buy ehx though )….i have a digital delay pedal that will hold your note/chord while you press the footswitch, and release it you take your foot off…and you can play over whatever note/chord is being held. its great and i use it all the time in my band, its like having keyboards or synth behind the guitar and really fills out the sound.
korgiMember….sorry…i know thats not the most in depth review!
korgiMemberin my experience with bands, it is possible to play along with anyone, but there will be a few people (i have found 3 in my life) that you really, really click with….cant explain why, you just know, and so do they.
just keep playing!
korgiMember….’That’s why I will soon use 3 amps. one for Bass, and 2 for each stereo side…!’….
thats exactly what i do, and it makes everything sound sooooo much better!
korgiMemberyeah….loads of really good pedals i have owned have noisy switches….and to be honest, it sort of annoys me, cos i have (for example) a carbon copy, which is true bypass an all that, it has the same style of switch (so you get the satisfiying ‘click/pop’ whatever) but its just much, much softer and smoother and quieter
in fact it just feels better quality…..which i think is the really issue….just better parts.i really wish ehx would upgrad their switches a little, cos their effects pedals are brilliant.
blah
korgiMemberi think it is missing the hold/infinite feature (off the cathedral)….it seems it would sit really well on a delay/looper pedal.
korgiMemberi have a micro pog and have owned a pog 1 and a hog (both of which have gone now) and although it has less features, there is just something about the micro pog that is better than all the others….it just seems to have a better sound (to my ears) and is much more practical and useful at gigs. i also found it sounds better with other effects added.
i can’t tell you why it sounds better, cos im sure they are all built from the same stuff :pbut that said….i haven’t tried a pog 2 yet…..and i want an extra pog, so maybe i will give one a go!
korgiMember…..iron lung!!!!!!…….yeeeeeessssssssssssssss………………….
korgiMemberweird…i was just going to post about a looper….
i would love just the loop function off the hazari…in a smaller box.
i had a lo-fi loop junkie, and it was great, i liked the way it was so simple and straight forward….but for me, the fact that it can’t layer or quantise really limited the way i wanted to use it.i love the hazari looper (especially the fact it is true stereo) so would love it the way it is, just without all the delay/echo and other functions which make it a bit too much in a live situation (i find the best pedals usually do one or two fucntions very simply and very well)
