You can use left in>left out for mono, left input>both outputs for stereo, or two instruments in mono (left in>left out, right in>right out), or a stereo in>stereo out. You could also do some tricky routing by plugging your guitar into the right input and take the right output back into the left input and left output to your amp.

And the presets are one preset per effect mode, so to get another preset, go to another mode.

Thanks for the info!… I believe this is going to be one of the most used pedals on my music now… I just need to save some bucks, and hopefully I´ll order my SMM this coming week!… I’m so excited that I can’t wait…

I feel like all of the newer XO/Nano modulation pedals are more subtle than the previous versions…. Is it just me? Excluding the Pulsar of course – new version is intense….

I haven’t tryed anything else yet… but I’m thinking about the stereo electric misstress AND/OR the small clone for my next buy… any advice on that???…

lol I’m becoming an EHX fan! want the MM hazarai, micro pog, micro synth, etc, etc, etc… :D

If I’m not mistaken, I think the worm’s 4 modes all use the phaser as their engine, which might account for some of the similarity you are hearing between the modes.
I find the tremelo to be very subtle, but the wah, phaser, and vibrato are all quite pronounced for me.

You’re right… It makes sense and I agree now… changed the crappy cables and played some stuff with The Worm engaged and I can tell almost the same as you… classic subtle tremolo, nice phaser, vibrato and wah effects… sweet sound!

the auto/manual sweep switch is very cool too…

I’m sure you have, but have you switched the auto/manual sweep?

Yes I did… and it works perfectly! adding different “colors” or character to tone as I go clock-wise and viceversa…

It’s me again… I did some another tests, tried the pedal with a new cable, thowing away the cheapy one that came with my guitar, and certainly improved the sound… It still got that kind of classic, subtle sound to me, but it’s very good to add some modulation… the range and rate knobs are very sensitive, so they have to be dialed carefully to get the desired sound…

    I’m happy now!

    Peace!!!
