    Mine has the same battery issue! Help!

    I want my soul food to be a portable pedal. The battery issue bothers me a lot.
    The main problem is that I bought the pedal on tour in USA…
    It seems like I am not the only one facing this problem. Is there any common solution that i can check it on my own?

    Put the wire above the circuit board rather than hiding the wire beneath the battery. Might help, it works on my pedal :)
