$35 is pretty good i’d say… as long as it’s working and in reasonable cosmetic condition.

ah, so it’s just that new members have to wait an hour, and can then send PMs normally. I guess the protection is that if some bot gets through the registration captcha, that it still has to wait before PM’ing (though, it seems, it could post, so I’m not totally sure it’s all that helpful as a spam fighter). But thanks for helping me understand!

    yeah, that’s it.

melx sent me a PM right after i had signed up and when i tried to reply, an error message appeared along the lines of “New members cannot send PM’s in their 1st hour of membership. This measure is to prevent (reduce?) spamming.”

What is your opinion on a Screaming Tree Treble Booster and whats a good price?

i know someone who used to have one… he says it was a bit too trebly (even for a treble booster) and ear piercing.

according to the schematics i’ve found, the circuit is the same as the LBP-1 (as everyone else has said) but the input and output caps are different (0.002uF instead of 0.1uF).

but what i’d really like to see would be something along the lines of the Pulse Modulator…

it would be great if it had a Master speed control, with each tremolo ‘channel’ having a control to set it to ‘divisions’ of the Master tempo (ie, 8ths,16ths etc and maybe a control to slightly offset the channel’s timing), depth, waveshape and volume controls. and a master volume.

that thing looks amazing, are these the only versions of these? (that looks really old!) if so I think a Pulse modulator w/ *insert wacky word that no-one knows what it means , is well overdue. :D

i’ve seen a picture of a stereo version too. i think they’re pretty old and there weren’t that many of them made… (from what i’ve read:) because the tremolo circuits were all independent of eachother, it was very difficult (ie. impossible) to get the trem pulses in sync for any length of time so it suffered for not being very user-friendly.

that’s why i suggested the idea of a ‘Master’ clock for it.

so yeah, the Pulse modulator w/ *insert wacky word that no-one knows what it means would be awesome… i’ve just had another idea too… external effects loops for each tremolo circuit!

    i’d buy one!

i’d quite like to see an update to the Stereo Pulsar, or a ‘Plus’ version… with stereo ins and outs, and the option for stereo tremolo or panning. the fact that the current Stereo Pulsar is always panning is what has stopped me getting one.
