    Update: I got MIDI to work, after a bit of finagling and, er, manual reading. The default setting for the internal synth is to respond only on channel 16. Once I got that working, everything operated perfectly. I suppose they chose channel 16 to avoid conflict with other synths in the MIDI chain.

    Yes, you can. Use the “transpose” mode. The gender knob will work on your voice. It does a lot of processing, though, and samples at 36khz (as opposed to CD-standard 44.1) so it will sound effected even in the dry state.

    I have found that a mix of the pitch and gender knobs create a very realistic low voice.

    I am having the same problem with my pedal. I plugged in both a Novation K-Station and a Yamaha Motif ES7 as midi sources to no avail. I also tried two different MIDI cables. I tried out of both the Mic and Instrument outputs, with the mix in both directions, on every MIDI channel. Nothing.
