According to premier guitar, the MSRP on the DMMTT will be $504.00

    !!!!

    That sounds analog!

In my experience digital is more expensive than analog when it comes to delay units, but rarely by much. The Boss DD-7 and Line6 Echo Park are more expensive than the MXR Carbon Copy or EHX Memory Boy, but again, not by much.

That said, the digital SMMw/H is £45 cheaper than the analog DMM. Got to say though, I’d go for the SMMw/H over the DMM any day.

I’ve been after a Riddle for a while, because I want to use it with an expression pedal as a seriously adjustable wah. Now that the Talking Machine has arrived the Riddle’s days on my wishlist may be numbered.

I’ve got serious GAS. Unfortunately it also causes serious cash flow issues, which in turn affect my ability to soothe my GAS. It’s a vicious cycle.

Complex digital pedals like this really do call for an EHX employed technician’s attention when they get fried. I should expect the chips in there are expensive and only availible to if not manufactured solely by EHX. I’d send them an email right away.

Also, I wouldn’t cause a digital pedal to self-oscillate by feeding the output back into the input, they generally can’t take it as well as analog gear. Just… you know… a pointer XD

New BOSS RC-3 and RC-30 announced at NAMM; 3 hours of loop time, 99 different preset slots, USB connector, will take WAVs up and over 1GB in size. E….PIC. Two channels on the RC-30 with individual faders so you can mix and fade two phrases at once, as well as sticking a beat over it. Even more epic!

Good idea that! Outside-the-box. I was thinking of using it for that exact function but my mind stopped at ‘a rocking expression pedal would be really hard to slide and hold at a particular pitch’. /thumbs-up

I have a more relevant development; been getting SUCH good feedback about the new songs that I’ve been writing (and singing on) that I’ve ordered a large diaphragm condenser microphone so I can do it properly, nothing fancy, just a T.Bone SC400 and a pop-shield. At the moment I’m using a Red 5 Audio RVD30 which is a bit like an SM57 or Audix i5, sounds great on guitar, but it’s not suited to vocals at all.

Fingers crossed for that arriving tomorrow :)

If pedals are acting strangely when you use them in-line with other pedals try sticking it in the FX loop of your amp.

How does this one measure up compared to the previous one? http://dl.dropbox.com/u/14392951/In_the_Middle_of_the_Night.mp3

Any/All feedback is majorly appreciated :)
