I have got the same problem … if you use the right adapter it works OK … it is very picky that way … I have tried it with TREX fuel tank jr. and it worked, but didn’t oscillate. With two different adapters it didn’t work at all. It however works OK with electro harmonic original 9.6V/200mA adapter.
On fresh battery works OK for 15 – 25 min. and than doesn’t manage to oscillate anymore … it seems like it drains the battery pretty fast.
Other than that is nice pedal .. quite some noise when the repeats are engaged, but not really noticeable on low “blend” settings.
