blue lights usually are brighter, so that could be it
julianModeratorI love the saying on the product page “It’s not just a guitar head; it’s a shrunken head, with all good voodoo.”
julianModeratordrone boner sounds like something the band LIARS would use.
julianModeratorI like blue
julianModeratorno clue
the resolution is so low it’s pretty much impossible to read
julianModeratorAlso, according to a few sources (dealers who’ve talked to EH) there is also a nano sized Memory Toy on the way.
julianModeratorThey’re releasing it next month I believe!! EH hasn’t released any info on it.
All the info we have comes from the screaming bird/mole video EH posted where you can see a prototype in the background, and from the summer price list that dealers recently received from EH.
In the background of the screaming bird/mole video you can see it is XO sized, has 4 knobs and 2 flip-switches.
Dealers have leaked that it will be 99 dollars MAP (minimum advertised price), and that it’s subtitle is “analog delay/chorus/vibrato”
So there you go, that’s all we know right now.
julianModeratorEven if it is possible to do, I’d think it would be very hard to do, SMD boards are really hard to mod. There are some people who do it, but personally I wouldn’t.
I think the best thing would be to put one of these after it: http://www.activemusician.com/item–EM.RLL-SX21
julianModeratorNope, not a feedback loop. In stereo, the delay lines are independent.
It’d be essentially like hooking it up through 4 SMMHs in a row, with 1 and 3 and 2 and 4 having the same settings.
julianModeratorThey are coming out with one like that. And it is called the Memory Boy.
julianModeratoryou should wire your 2 SMMHs like this:
julianModeratorI’m not absolutely sure.
If the DSP is constantly emitting all of the voices, and the sliders just act as a mixer, than yes, it would be possible.
If the DSP has one output and mixes it itself based on what the sliders are set on, than no, not possible.
It’s probably designed the latter way.
julianModeratorI need to put an LED in my frequency analyzer.
I think LEDs could even be used in new ways to help things. I’d like LEDs above each knob that get brighter as each knob is turned up. And then when a preset is recalled, it will help you know where the controls are.

Kubrick must have really loved that theme. I’d be willing to be it is slipped into scores of other Kubrick films too, though I can’t think of any other examples.

I didn’t realize the presets on the HOG save the expression positions as well
