I don’t think you can do that with a 2880

julianModeratorI like to use murphy’s oil soap on my leather sofa, I’d probably try that, or dish soap + water. Lemon juice + salt sounds fine though too.

Maybe it’s a modular polyphonic analog guitar synth system, with the world’s first working polyphonic audio to CV converter. That’d be pretty rad, and there’d be some great possibilities built into something like that.

https://www.ehx.com/forums/viewthread/5268/Really curious about this…
Well anyone can post in News. I think it’s OK to post in News as long as it’s News. I do move threads that aren’t news or merge threads that are redundant when I see them.
julianModeratorI drool at the thought of full midi control of all the newer digital pedals.
julianModeratorKotos by the way get their unique sound in that the bridge is closer to the middle of the string, and the unplayed portion of the string resonates relatively to the played portion. The long unplayed portion also allows for the string bends.
julianModeratorBill, what’s the range on the pitch whammy settings? Can you do down octaves as well? Could you do -1 to +1 in the same sweep?
julianModeratorAll the EHX pedals I’ve had that have had expression work with your standard generic 10kohm expression pedal or a 0-5v CV signal.
EHX doesn’t make an expression pedal, and in fact the HOG comes pre-packaged with an M-Audio.
I would suspect that this works similarly.
Looking at the Vox Tonelab SE it doesn’t have a 1/4″ stereo expression out. So I suspect those pedals only work via Midi.
And I don’t see a midi input on the Ravish, so I think you’d have to have a midi-analog converter box in between them.
julianModeratorI’d be willing to bet there’s some sort of midi thru box that could convert one CC into another.
If there’s not it wouldn’t be hard to do with an arduino & a small amount of skill.
julianModeratorI like it. Every time an EHX pedal comes out I judge it by the sounds you can get out of it.
“NAMM floor show video? Man I can’t wait for the Effectology to show us what this thing can really do!”
I can imagine the possibilities when thrown in with my other EH weird boxes.
julianModeratorGood find. . . the new art is cool.
julianModeratorWell in real time you can’t speed up the signal because the pedal can’t know what you’re going to play next.
But a pedal that slows down the signal doesn’t sound like too bad of an idea.
