I hate the standard T-pain type application. But I bet there are some interesting creative possibilities
julianModeratorSo you just want a static filter with an expression pedal? I’m not sure if anyone makes that.
julianModeratorEvery DMM is going to sound a little different, vintage or reissue. Some connoisseurs could tell you which they like best, but they’ve all got the DMM sound. So I wouldn’t worry too much over which model to get if you’re set on a DMM.
julianModeratorIf you want the DMM sound, nothing else is going to give you it.
If you want a cool little analog delay that’s a bit darker and has some weird sounds, you want the memory Boy.
If you want a digital delay that can do pseudo-analog but also has a bunch of rad functions like looping and reverse, you want the Stereo Memory Man with Hazarai.
If I were you I’d find a place where I could try them out.

julianModeratorDoesn’t sound normal to me. It sounds like the POG is octaving and filtering some noise from somewhere in your chain.
Could very well be a power supply issue.
julianModeratorI don’t have one, but the riddle is very different in that it has attack/decay/start/stop/blend controls and built in dirt
julianModeratorwell then you could do a step sequencer
julianModeratorhmmm, somehow on the Subdecay Prometheus where you’re doing the S+H thing it does patterns instead of complete randomness
julianModeratorI recognize your board from HC, and love it.
julianModeratorme too
thanks for alerting me though, he’s banned
julianModeratorYes, it would.
julianModeratorYou could get one of these or similar:
It only has one out, but you could use a splitter to provide two outs if you’d like
oooh, and if you want your drummer to have control over tempo:
julianModeratoryes of course!
