Personally I like dirty verb tones.
Would have preferred some shoegaze type tones for the reverse mode.
julianModeratorMost of them can be powered with the 1spot, but some don’t like to be daisy chained.
Which ones specifically do you want to power?
julianModeratorMy PP2+ powers my SMMH, don’t see why it couldn’t power the HG nano.
julianModeratorstomp on the bypass the switch, then hold down the tap/record switch.
julianModeratorI’d just want an analog style octave fuzz muff
julianModeratorYep, it’s part of the pedal.
julianModeratorexpression pedals don’t need power.
julianModeratorno, I use my frequency analyzer with humbuckers and my guitar downtuned as far as C and it works fine!
julianModeratorOr how about have a loop that you can play with your guitar?
julianModeratorsweating a lot from this August heat and listening to Unwound and trying to get into the mood to be productive
julianModeratorWhat compressor is it?
julianModeratorYes you can!!!
In fact, that’s how I run my HOG.
I run my HOG’s dry out into two fuzzes and then my tuner (so I can mute dry) and into my amp, and then I run my HOG’s wet out into my modulation and weird effects and other distortions into my delay and into a volume pedal (so I can swell or mute the wet signal) into the other channel on my amp.
julianModeratorWell modulation technically puts the repeats out of tune. Going slightly out of tune is what creates pretty chorusing effects.
I was pretty disappointed with the CC when I found out that the modulation doesn’t get very crazy. I want to get very crazy sounds myself.
julianModeratorWell there is the old EH attack/decay, but that’s rare as hen’s teeth and hence very expensive.
Guyatone makes the Slow Volume. DIYstompboxes has a DIY kit called the Lazy Sprocket. Pigtronix makes the Attack Sustain (though it’s pretty beefy)
julianModeratornot necessarily
