You need to wire it differently. A normal Y cable won’t work.
Do you have a digital multimeter?
julianModeratorI think it is for when they program the chip in the factory, that’s all.
julianModeratorI power mine with my PP2+ off of one of the 5/6 slots. You have to have it set to 9v (dip switch off I believe)
julianModeratorit must be bigger and have more features and have full midi functionality
julianModeratoror they could just ditch the old nano clone and make the new nano clone a straight up rehouse
julianModeratorpictures needed!

julianModeratorI’d get one of these:

it might fit in a smaller enclosure, like a Hammond BB, but I’m not sure.
julianModeratordoes it sound just like a memory boy but with less flexible options?
julianModeratorfrequency analyzer is aweseome, but definitely not for everyone (though it should be)
julianModeratorI like using the envelope in conjunction with other effects pedals after it to create some really bizarre effects. You can set it so that the volume keeps going back and forth over the sweet spot of an envelope filter (combined with ring mod this effect is really awesome) You can set it so that your wet sound decays really fast, so you can have some really bizarre sound that only happens at the beginning of notes.
This is all parallel with my fuzz pedals, so I have this blended with a normal distorted signal.
julianModeratorYeah, that’s always nice. I do that by having the HOG and my main distortions in different chains.
julianModeratorI went through a goth/post-punk phase. I still like it, but don’t really care to hear more than I already know of.
I like Bauhaus, Fields of Nephilim, Joy Division, Birthday Party, early Human League and some other stuff like that from around then.

julianModeratorPersonally right now I’m looking at the EHX Microsynth, Riddle, and Memory Boy, as well as the Catalinbread SFT.
