Well in that case I’d turn off the -1 octave slider and turn up the +5th slider, then hit the expression direction button (so you bend down) and bend it down a whole octave. So then you’ll be getting -1 octave + a 5th, and you can play open.

    small clone does chorus
polychorus does flange, chorus, slapback, and filter matrix (frozen flange)
clone theory does chorus and vibrato (original clone theory also had flange)

I’ve only owned the new Clone Theory. It’s very bright, it has a bit of a volume boost, but it is very pretty in a Cocteau Twins sort of way. Personally I like it on bass. On guitar I think it does a nice rotary sound, and it can also make some sea-sick sounds with the depth cranked

    cool man!

BTW, did you get my email I sent you? I’m very interested in getting a controller and possibly doing the same for mine, since I’ve already got a huge board

The power adapter is irrelevant. Remember in circuits that different voltages are needed throughout. The voltage at the power jack is not seen by every part.

In an email a year ago, EHX told me that I could use 0-5. I’m assuming that more than 5V there could very well fry the ADC, or have no effect because the maximum value was already reached.

I’m not sure exactly how it’s wired up, but there’s a chance you’d damage something. Does 0 to 5 send it the whole range and then some, or not quite the whole range?

Could you post about how you made that HOG switching unit? I’m very intrigued!

mmm I don’t know that I go after traditional bow sounds myself, but I’d start with original up, envelope on, and the attack set slow.

Yeah, I’d just leave it always on with a mute if that’s how you want to use it.

I’ve seen Strange Brew. It was funny, but not as good as the TV show it came from (SCTV, which I used to watch on Nick at Night when I was kid! Man Nickelodeon used to be so cool.)

    hahah, I’m 24!

I just happen to like a lot of movies and music that were made before I was born. I watch TCM a lot.

You have to see Spinal Tap. It’s the quintessential rock and roll movie. I can’t believe you haven’t seen Caddyshack. Bill Murray, Chevy Chase, Rodney Dangerfield, and many other hilarious comedians. Groundhog Day is another awesome Bill Murray movie.

Please tell me you’ve at least seen Stripes!

only thing is with the cathedral you can’t swell the held chord.

well you can swell it with your volume on guitar, or the volume pedal and then hold it, right?

or am i missing something here? :worried:

well it depends on if he wants it to swell while he plays over it or swell before he plays over it
