You can mic the amp and put the stereo pedals into your FX loop on your mixer.
OR
You could run the pedals on the floor in front of the amp, and send one side to the left to the amp and one side to the right to mixer direct in
julianModeratorI use tunings that I made up myself mostly
C A# D# A C C (I want to get a baritone to tune this down to C to A)
D F# D F G D
also standard
DADGAD and CCCCCC are fun as well. I’ve messed around in Open A a bit.
julianModeratorI don’t know if I’d get a HOG to replace a POG and a Microsynth. Depends on what you use each one for, but IMO the filter sweep on the Microsynth is to die for. I have a HOG and want to get a Microsynth just for that.
julianModeratorI got caught skimming. Yes you do need stands for gigging.
julianModeratorDon’t waste your money on stands, get some wall hangers. They class up your practice room and free up floor space for amps and pedals
julianModeratorIn a traditional rock and roll sense, the most awesome guitar I’ve ever played was a 60s Gibson ES-335. It played like a dream, really sung. But for most purposes, I’d rather rock a Les Paul derivative.
julianModeratorThe only thing that the HOG can’t do that the POG2 can is the slightly detuned octaves mixed with normal octaves, which helps a lot in the organ sound.
julianModeratorIt’s pretty awesome, despite the huge volume drop. If is on my board, it will be in the parallel FX path so it’s not a huge deal since the parallel FX I usually turn on and fade in and out with a volume pedal.
julianModeratormerry Christmas!!
julianModeratorNo, that’s an LBM. The BMTW doesn’t have the little rounded divot
julianModeratorApparently he’s going to tour with WIRE. That could be interesting. I like WIRE a lot more than I like RHCP. A LOT more.
julianModerator😆 @ the screaming whore. Totally tasteless, but hilarious at the same time.
julianModeratorpost pictures!!!
I’ve played a Tiny Terror at a store. . . it rocks. I want one. Don’t know about the Vox Night Train. I’ve never actually heard of it.
julianModeratormmmm smoked gouda, brie, and all other kinds of cheese
I love cheese!

I had a GCB-95 and it sounded like a vacuum cleaner with distortion and sucked tone horribly. So I got rid of it. I have a DOD-FX17, but it’s not what you’re looking for at all.
