I just realized the freezer doesn’t have a way to eliminate the dry sound. For someone who uses parallel effects loops, this is a huge disappointment for me, and I think a big oversight.
I wanted to run it parallel to my dry/fuzz signal so then I could hold something and futz with it with my HOG and other effects while I play unfutzed with clean stuff at the same time.
julianModeratorI bet you could do it with a bit of hacking an arduino. EHX won’t mod their pedals sadly

I am wondering if you could have it freeze a chord or note and decay naturally while you play over it. Because that would be awesome.
julianModeratorhaha
took me a second to get that
julianModeratorI’d place it before modulation and filters AND after pitch shifting.
Although if you’ve got some really resonant filters, placing it after them can have very interesting effects.
So generally, place it the same way you’d place fuzz for the most normal (relatively speaking of course) configuration.
But there’s a million different way to order your pedals, so experiment!
julianModeratorGood point, they do.
julianModeratorXLR jacks take up a lot of space. I could see them fitting them in Little Big Muff enclosures, but nano enclosures would be a tight fit.
June 9, 2010 at 4:35 am in reply to: polychorus fail – needs a tap on the chassis to kick start chorus and double track #106773julianModeratorIt seems to me that maybe the connections are stressed when everything is put together and when you have it apart, it isn’t, so everything measures normal.
When you take it apart and measure the switch connections, plug in the pedal and see if you have the same problem. It’s probably that the connections are intermittent, working sometimes and not other times. A bit of re-soldering might get it done.
At least that’s my theory.
julianModeratorThe only analog polyphonic pitch shift unit was called the ADA Harmony Synthesizer, and it was made for a very short time. Not only was it stupidly expensive, but it sounded awful.

Of course if EH found a bulk stash they could get them cheaper.

What decade are the new old-stock NKT275s from?
I’m wondering because a friend of mine were speculating over whether you’ll be using original NKT275s, or reproduction NKT-275s.

julianModeratorTested with my multimeter. He’s right.
You need these: http://www.smallbearelec.com/Detail.bok?no=27 The middle lug is connected to the right lug (when viewed as wired into the HOG) when the switch isn’t pressed down, and connected to the left when it is.
