Hey, I don’t work for EHX, but I think it’s certainly possible, though because of the SMD circuitry, probably a pain in the ass.

If I were to do it, I’d go about trying to figure out at which point the clean and wet signals are blended.

I’d do this by taking the pedal apart, then plugging it in, and using an audio probe to find the point in the circuit where there is wet signal but no dry signal. Then I’d cut a trace there and put in the FX loop.

Here’s a little article about how to make and build an audio probe:

I’d contact EHX and see if they will still repair the big box ones. Their repairs are pretty cheap. Here’s how you contact them:

Ron, you really need to get a digital camera and do some video demonstrations of some of your stuff on youtube. It’s super easy to do, and it’s nice to clear some of the mystery around it.

It’s not you that I don’t have faith in, it’s just not nearly as easy as drilling.

Just got home from a too-long trip to find the Moog EP2 had arrived. Thankfully, it works perfectly. Functionally, its doing what its supposed to do. Feature-wise its better than the Boss because it’s metal, heavy and stays where I put it. Also, it was $40 instead of the ludicrous $79 for the Boss. Plus, it says Moog on it. The one negative (for me) is the attached cable is straight instead of angled. Whatev..

So anyway, if anything else goes wrong I’ll report back but Sim Tut’s official recommendation goes to the Moog EP2. Yup, I’m official.

You could always order a right angled plug and replace it.

Nice tip! If I get one, I’ll make sure to try. (Though I think if I got one, it would be sure to end up on my synth board which doesn’t have a PP2+. . . .yet.)

Well the HOG does a pretty good Hammond sound: https://www.ehx.com/forums/viewthread/1387/

The extra intervals (which happen to also be the Hammond intervals), spectral gate, and ability to make the upper notes have a quick decay are a plus on the HOG. Plus there’s a ton of other awesome stuff like freeze gliss.

The POG2 has the detune control which is nice because you can simultaneously have clean octaves and detuned octaves. With the HOG expression pedal you can detune your octaves, but you can’t have them mixed with an undetuned octave, so it doesn’t have quite the same effect.

and give him a good price because he’s a forum buddy ;)

    Magnatones are awesome.

I’d think the higher priced titanos would be the stereo ones. Unfortunately this one is mono :(

Someday you’ll change your tune and regret selling it.

I can’t imagine a little vomit would make it stop working.

The only thing I could see is if it somehow got into a switch or a potentiometer.

I’ll omit the taking it apart thing. I’d just clean it. Take a piece of toilet paper and get most of it off, then take a slightly damp rag with some dish soap and clean it thoroughly.

Don’t sell it, take it to a tech and have it fixed up, and then you’ll have your self a really nice tube combo.
