do you have more than two 12s? I’d try to give it 24.
I don’t think the Big Muffs would be very different sounding with more voltage.
julianModeratorIt’s probably a momentary, but you could get a multimeter and test it
julianModeratorIf you just want something to test out pedals with without playing guitar, build the drone oscillator circuit on the site I linked you to.
julianModeratorIC means integrated circuit, yes.
julianModeratorQuote:and then? how do they get into the amplifier? You either run them through a mixer, run them through two different channels on your amp, or you run them through two different amps
julianModeratorIt’s a bit different than that.
The idea of the freeze is that you can play a chord or a note, and then play over that. Of course if you put a swell pedal in front of it, you could kind of do that.

julianModeratorI like to send my direct out to my big muff, and then send my effect out to some modulation and delay.
julianModeratorWell then put it between the booster and the chorus then.
It’s really a matter of taste. Personally I like mine better before distortion, but having compression before it helps for some of the organ tones.
julianModeratorAnywhere after your compressor and before your chorus I’d say.
You also might want to experiment with using both the wet and dry outs on it. It can open up some new worlds of sounds.
julianModeratorIf you get a DPDT switching jack, you could wire it up so that you can plug an extension cabinet into your cabinet that puts two two cabinets in series.
You want one like this:
julianModeratorYou can make an oscillator with a 555 timer IC.
There a are a couple simple oscillators here:
julianModeratorI connect my Sequential Circuits Six Trak to my Sovtek Small Stone. I don’t see why it would be a problem with the nano.
julianModeratorI’ve tried plenty of 9.6v pedals with my PP2+ and they’ve all worked
julianModeratorMaybe I should be clearer:
By phase shift oscillator, are you saying phaser?
I’ve never built a phaser, but I don’t think it would be that difficult. They’re rather simple. Usually just an oscillator with a bunch of allpass filter stages and a feedback circuit.
