I think I go in and try out stuff more than anything else
julianModeratorI’m pretty sure the $130 is the UK price because of how expensive gear is there
MacDaddy said that they’ll be about 90 bucks street.I don’t really see why they’d even break 100 street in the states unless they use suped up parts or something.
julianModeratorI’ve heard that as well
julianModeratorxo or big box?
julianModeratorA lot of people replace those switches with more modern ones. It should be an easy fix that requires one part.
Someone created a nice little thing about modding russian muffs
this should help!
julianModeratorthough I replied to this but I guess I didn’t
I’ve got a setup where I use both my channels as well, except I do wet/dry delay so that I can use my volume pedal to mix in my delay signal.
When the volume is all the way off I don’t have any hum
(though a tiny bit of signal goes through, so that may be why)julianModeratorI was gonna get one
I was also gonna get an HM fuzzI should have
but I was hesitant to get something I didn’t “need”December 5, 2008 at 8:01 pm in reply to: Ideas for the next batch of diecast RI pedals and possible EHX pedals of the future. #88524julianModeratorHow about the filter section from the Microsynth in an XO or nano pedal?
julianModeratorQuote:I’d rather ehx stay away from dirt atm.Too much fuzz, distortion, overdrive in the world.
Let’s have something different.
No such thing as too much dirt, I could have a board completely comprised of fuzz pedals
julianModeratorI like the Little Big Muff’s tighter more aggressive sound better
julianModeratormaybe they could just have an EHX jumbo power board with built in power supply.
julianModeratorQuote:Lee, Kevin and I think Thurston used PDS delays as well i ntheir rigs. I’m sad to not see them here.good taste in EHX gear though!
I don’t think Thurston ever used a PDS, but yeah, Lee and Kevin regularly use them.
Those pictures aren’t their entire rigs though. Lee and Thurston both have 2 pedalboards, and Kevin’s got a rack full of pedals plus 2 boards. He’s crazy.
julianModeratorThere’s some free space in the middle
That’s because I’ve got some plans
-I’m getting a CopilotFX Antenna Bit Crusher (that’s what the 2nd expression pedal will be for)
-also getting an A/B/Y switcher with an XLR in to go in front of my SMMH
-also I’ll probably build an effects order swapper pedal to switch the order of my volume pedal and my SMMH
-I’m also planning on adding a bass big muff and a big muff with tone wicker eventually
-Polyphase is off the board, little big muff and pulsar will come off the board to make room for the 2 new big muffsThat’s all my plans for now
also might get a Germ OD
julianModeratorthis isn’t sorted out really well but here are two guys who modded their SMMH so you don’t have to hold down record
vulcaniza did an external box with some extra stuff:

http://acapella.harmony-central.com/forums/showthread.php?p=25774555&highlight=switch+toggle#post25774555and here’s another thread about it:
http://acapella.harmony-central.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1990930julianModeratormy bike chain links aren’t wide enough to fit XO enclosure screws
maybe I should get some different sized ones
I dunno
maybe I should just drill them out.
I just take the ones that are on every other link that aren’t flat and kind of wedge them in there then tighten it up. It works decently well, but it is a PITA to do.
