I’d love to get some of the old EHX drum machines. AFAIK none of em use samples and all the sounds are synthesized. Which is much more inspiring than the newer digital sampling sounds.
julianModeratorwow that’s a KILLER deal!
julianModeratorMy amp’s pretty awesome for that sort of stuff
Bassman 135julianModeratorthe frequency analyzer is 150
nothing wrong with cheap danos
they’re cool for experimentation
but then you’ll want better stuff
they’re bypass and headroom are pretty mehjulianModeratorI know for a fact that the pedals are assembled in the EHX factory in New York.
I don’t know where the enclosures are made or the SMC boards are populated though. I don’t think they have the equipment in the EHX factory to populate SMC boards.
julianModeratorstereo electric mistress is the only digital modulation pedal EHX makes
unless you count the stereo memory man with hazarai, which has a modulation modeDecember 21, 2008 at 11:15 pm in reply to: Ideas for the next batch of diecast RI pedals and possible EHX pedals of the future. #89408julianModeratorhttps://www.ehx.com/forums/viewthread/117/
look for the frequency analyzer mod
it’s really simplejulianModeratorit’s a line 6 variax jag
lolnah, I think it’s just the exposure that makes it hard to see
julianModeratorsounds good to me
personally I like a good chorus with keys or some ring mod, but that’s just mejulianModeratorthat’s awesome
julianModeratorNo guitar pedals are 100% made in the US.
Because even if you’re buying boutique- the parts were made all over the world. A lot of boutiques use Tantalum capacitors for better fidelity, and those come from Africa and are made using Coltan Ore, which is pretty controversial in itself.
julianModeratorQuote:Quote:yeah always straight into the amp
only effects you should run in loop are modulation and delayI agree, although I would change ‘should’ to ‘could’
Yeah. . .
my amp doesn’t have a loop
so I don’t run anything in the loop
and I’m fine
but then again I’ve got a silverface bassman
it’s clean at 10julianModeratora heavy duty joystick with a flat top could get the job done

SMMH size
steel brushed for shininess
Carrier in for alternate sources
CV/Expression for both the blend and the shift
the filter has a dedicated footswitch
A built in 3 knob chorus that is in series with it. Flip switch to bypass it.julianModeratorspeaking of modular
having pedals that lock together and have all their connections on the bottom
for super tidy looking boards -
