julianModeratorQuote:A bit off-topic, but this reminded me that Line 6 has a programmable FX stompbox, and there are also a few others. One trait that all of them seem to share though is that they require some programming knowledge to be able to create FX. I would like to see something similar, but geared towards the less technologically-inclined, probably by being able to program stuff with some sort of GUI. Something a bit like NI Reaktor, but for programming FX, and then with a compatible stompbox/floor module/whatever.
That’s a cool idea. I’d have a lot of fun programming effects
julianModeratorI wouldn’t say focus on digital
but I expect them to keep pushing the envelope with new digital effects that do things that weren’t quite possible beforejulianModeratorYeah I wouldn’t do a thing to that
get a one spot battery adapter (snaps onto a battery snap then you can plug an adapter in)
if you think it sucks tone when off put it in a true bypass loobut for the love of everything that is holy, don’t mod that!
that’s like changing the pickups on a 1952 gold top Les Paul
julianModeratorI think the best way to handle the problem is creativity then
which is really up to you
finding the most convenient way to add two power supplies onto the boardjulianModeratorUsually the best way to get a rotary sound is to use some sort of modulation on a very shallow depth and very fast speed.

Reminds me of some sci-fiish shit from the ’80s. Peeew! Weeeeaw! Die, you fucking alien!
julianModeratorAll that stuff on there and you’d think it would have a courtesy jack.
Weird that it doesn’t have any high current outlets either.
Just because they have 200 ma power supplies doesn’t necessarily mean they require them though. Someone here may be able to enlighten us as to what the draw is on those pedals.

I was screwing around with the glissando mode and came up with these sounds and they really interested me. Different. . . inspiring to play

julianModeratorI haven’t played one myself, but from what I’ve heard from owners is that it is pretty awesome
julianModeratorsounds awesome
julianModeratorI’ve thought about it, but I thought it would make it sound darker, and I really like using that G for those wild accents
julianModeratorjulianModeratorI think that’s a new one, it has the new style knobs
