joed424MemberQuote:Hi all – I’ve been using the same Big Muff for the last 3 years. Up ’til now, I’ve always just plugged my guitar into my effects chain, then into the amp. I use about 8 pedals, and single coil pickups, so I get quite a bit of noise.
Recently, I’ve started using the effects send/return on the amp (a Fender 85) which takes away lots of noise, but when the Muff is engaged, the sound from it is totally messed up – a poor, distorted sound, no sustain, & a damp crackling noise as if it was a near-dead battery (I’m using a power supply).
None of my other pedals give me this problem, and the only way to use the Muff is to go directly into the amps input, which leaves me with the noise.
Anybody know of a fix for the Big Muff ?
Thanksdistortions aren’t supposed to be in a loop

joed424Membernobody can beat this now

joed424MemberQuote:DO NOT USE THIS!!! using that will fry the pedal, that changes the centre negative to positive, the nano clone uses a regular Boss centre NEGATIVE power supply.
The optional 9V power supply from Electro-Harmonix is US96DC-200BI (same as used by Boss ™ & Ibanez(tm)) 9.6 volts/DC 200ma. The barrel connector on the front of the Nano Clone is for the 9-volt battery eliminator capable of delivering 100 mA of current. The inner ring of the 9-volt battery eliminator must be negative, the outer ring positive.
im sorry, i thought that was the problem
