By the “same circuit”, do you mean all the parts are identical also, or could some parts differences ( resistors, etc.) contribute to a different, perhaps better tone from the old one? Thanks.

Thanks for the reply. No, the switch is shot. In fact it went out with a spark, so I’m hopeing it didnt fry something else down the line. So, I’ll look for an SPDT slide switch. Any ideas where to start looking and how to ask for it by value? Thanks again!
