    Hmm… Where to start…

    – Fender Strat MIJ w/ Humbucker and Eric Clapton crash 3 paint job
    – Fender Strat MIM w/ Lace Sensor Golds, Mid Boost circuit and Eric Clapton crash 1 paint job (basically, an EC replica)
    – Fender Fat Strat MIM
    – Fender Strat MIA w/ custom multicolored paint job
    – Another Fender Strat MIA (though I’m not entirely convinced that it is because the bridge is an import spec bridge and there’s a small gap the neck and body in the neck pocket)
    – Fender Tele MIM
    – Fender Precision Bass
    – Epiphone Les Paul
    – Gibson Les Paul w/ mini humbuckers
    – Gretsch Electromatic
    – Godin SDxt
    – Memphis unknown model (was my very first electric guitar which still works and actually sounds decent)
    – Ovation Celebrity Deluxe 6 string
    – Ovation Celebrity Deluxe 12 string
    – Mann Acoustic (the beater guitar)
    – Segovia Classical Acoustic/Electric
    – Harmony Jumbo Acoustic

No volume drop that I’ve noticed. Works fine with my Little Big Muff and my amps overdrive for the way that I use my Memory Toy. Best bet is to drop by your local music shop and see if you can test out the pedals you want.

Strange. I can get mine to oscillate as long as the battery is a fresh one. They need a lot of juice to get going.

Unfortunately I’m stuck in midterm mode, so it might be a while until I get a nice clip. But I’ll post one up as soon as I have a chance.

Seems to affect the frequency range of the filter sweep. Can go from the quacky sound they have on their demos to a more funky wah like sound. I wish the pot had a control knob on the outside to give the pedal more control. But yeah, open up the bottom and experiment with it. I just wouldn’t recommend turning it fully counter-clockwise while the pedal is on. When I did it, the pedal gave out this high pitched squeal and my amp was turned up quite loud.

Tweaked the internal pot inside the Dr. Q today. I like the sound even better now. My preferred spot is about 1/4 of the pots range. Still gotta play with the memory toy. Apparently there’s a pot inside that one which alters the modulation part.

Crappy… I guess I’ll actually have to get another power supply for it since it won’t play nice with the other pedals. Thank you EH man.

Wow, Jay! That’s a nice little EH set you have going on there. I was just looking at the Dr. Q Nano and the LPB-1 and was thinking of purchasing them right along with the Nano Stone. Good god, and add the new Holy Grail too. Man, I’ve got some dough to fork out! Hahah! :-)

    Best,
    Nep

Originally, I was just in the market for a solo booster and found the LPB-1. After that, I was hooked. Great sounds, pedals that are tough as nails and I find that EHX pedals are a bit cheaper than some of the other pedal makers out there.

I’m after a Holy Grail Nano and a Stereo Pulsar now to complete my bare bones set up. I really like the Nano series for it’s size. Hardly takes up any space, yet it’s built like a tank.

    Hahaha, I’ll post here too.

So I’ve got the Memory Toy, Nano Clone, Doctor Q and LPB-1. I’ve also got the Little Big Muff Pi, but that doesn’t really count as part of the Nano line.

Love the Memory toy. I posted on Nep’s other thread and it’s great. Mod effect is a bit strange, but the delays are fantastic. Tweaking the knobs while there’s sound going through the pedal is pretty trippy too.

I like the sound of the Nano Clone, it’s a nice balance between wet and dry signals. The main problem there is the volume drop off. I’m hoping there’s a way to fix that. If anyone knows, let me know too.

Doctor Q sounds great to me as long as the bass switch is engaged. Shutting it off results in complete loss of tone and volume. But with the bass switch on, it sounds cool and funky. It can do a sort of wah-like sound when you set your guitar volume at the right level. Teaming it with a bit of overdrive makes it sound like the Nano Bassballs pedal.

LPB-1 is one of my favorites. At the end of the chain, it’s perfect for solos or times where you just want to be the star. At the front of the chain, it works great for adding a bit more gain to other effects. In front of the amp, it can push it the amp into overdrive. I’ve only been able to try this with my Line 6 spider, but I’m waiting to get my Fender Hot Rod Deluxe fixed up so I can try it there too.

    Hey Nep,

When you get yours, let me know if you find a use for the mod effect. So far, it’s the only thing that bothers me about the pedal. Not a major issue though since I find that the delays sound great!

I don’t mean to thread jack, but mine was delivered in the mail yesterday. TOTALLY AWESOME! I’m still tweaking settings to find ones that I like, but so far I’m totally impressed. I think the one thing I haven’t quite found a use for is the modulation switch. It kinda sounds like a slow pulsing detune effect. But otherwise… TOTALLY AWESOME!

Thanks for the tip on the DIY pedal. I listened to a demo and it sounds pretty good. But I was wondering if you knew the name of that old EH pedal, in the event that one turns up on ebay or in a guitar shop?
