The polarity switch is what I described above. (Yamaha vs Roland). There shouldn’t be any different way of connecting it as they all just plug into the pedal with a stereo(TRS) input.
jason3fcMemberI use an EB 6181 25k VP Jr. and it works fine – at least to my liking.
As for normal Expression pedals you find that are intended for keyboard applications, there are apparently two “styles”, the Yamaha and the Roland style and I guess are wired differently.
Someone can correct me if I am wrong, but I believe the EHX pedals require the Roland style Exp pedals to work properly.
jason3fcMemberI use a EB VP Jr. It doesn’t matter if your basses are active or not, because to use a volume as an expression pedal you don’t plug your bass into the Volume Pedal. I use a stereo(TRS) to Two – Mono 1/4 ” Y-adapter to use the pedal as expression. Plug the stereo end into the EXP input on the Q-balls and then plug the two mono ends into the Input and Output of the Volume pedal. It will then act as an expression pedal.
jason3fcMemberI guess Ill have to lose some weight and get a bit shorter then! Thanks
jason3fcMemberHow come these shirts aren’t available in all colors at all sizes? I really want a yellow shirt but its only available in medium and I need X-large. I have the red one in XL, but really, really want the yellow one!
Quote:Quote:Will EHX ever sell the “inverted” electro harmonix logo t-shirts? Like this logo:http://www.whatsthatdudeplay.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/ehx-logo.jpg
That’d be great.
They do, through any EHX dealer.
