Oh by the way my name is Brent and for all you fellow gear freaks I’m playing a Hofner semi-hollow electric and splitting the signal to 2 amps through a Pigtronix Disnortion pedal. One signal goes through my pedal board into a Blues Jr. and the other I’m currently running through the Amplitube app on my iPod into a PA. The sound is crazy sweet. I have a POG2 so I can send an effected guitar through one amp and a clean signal through another. I also sometimes use a loop station. This way I can loop a chord progression or riff on the fly and then have another sound instantly to play along. The sounds you can get are amazing and you can really push the boundaries of what’s possible. Anyway, I hope to get a 2nd amp before we play live again…maybe a Burgera or a Vox? I’m also considering getting the new Korg miniature analog synth that just came out and I’ll mount it to my guitar and run through an A/B switch. I also just ordered the Moen Effects Looper GEC434 which will let me switch between combinations of stompboxes and add a boost. It was a cool find so you might check it out. I’m excited about it but I’m somewhat of I’m a dork. Just thought I’d share.
