I opened up the pedal but I don’t see any cracked resistors or burned out parts. Can anyone direct me which parts are common problems with this pedal? Thanks,

update: bypass signal DOES work, but when the pedal is activated there is no signal. No lights are on either.

    Thanks for the reply, Julian.

So I ordered a 18V DC 500ma EHX adapter off ebay and got it in the mail today. I plugged everything in…and no lights are coming on, no signal, nothing. I opened the back of the pedal and everything seems normal, but I’m horrible with diagnosing problems.

What could I do to remedy the problem without sending it in for repair? I guess the price I paid ($20) was too good to be true :(

The PP2+ is only capable of supplying 250ma on the high current outputs. You’ll have to use the original adapter or a higher current supplying power source.

Not ripping on you or anything but really, you should be able to look up the specs of your own equipment. I found that info on Voodoo Lab’s site in less than 30 secs.

Yeah I found the specs, but I thought it could ‘double’ the 250ma to 500ma if I used 2 outputs together. I just wanted confirmation from you guys before I shell out $20 for an adapter :(. Anyway, thanks for the quick response.

    It’s never coming off.

Oh well it still works with a 9v :rawk:

    Maybe your friend did it?

I just talked to him and he said he bought it from Guitar Center, possibly a floor model.

It makes no sense for anyone to glue it on. I could see EHX doing it for a show model, but even still that’s what the screws are there for…
