What was your solution?
IOSEPHVSParticipantI love the Graphic Fuzz. I have the XO version. I bought it for its EQ section. I wouldn’t call it a fuzz. It’s more straight up distortion, and the first transistor-based distortion that I have found useable. It has a similar timbre to that of the OD channnel in my Marshall. My only “complaint” is that I would also prefer a second footswitch for the Fuzz On/Off instead of the toggle switch. I recently added a Big Muff Pi Deluxe XO to the mix that I run the Graphic Fuzz into, and with the two I have found some very pleasing sounds.
IOSEPHVSParticipantI have noticed that a couple of retailers have listed the Pitch Fork + and the 1440 on their websites, available for pre-order.
IOSEPHVSParticipantMr. Matthews,
Hello. We are under a similar order in Ohio. My White Finger is there for warranty repair, but it’s not like musicians have venues that are open for performance.
I know that it will be returned when it is safe to repair and send it back to me. There are currently more pressing issues at hand. I thank you and your employees for all that you do for us.Stay safe,
RegardsIOSEPHVSParticipantQuote:Hi, I recently purchased a used, in new condition, Good Vibes pedal with exactly the same issue, it adds an audible pop to the signal when engaging the foot switch. Likewise, I’ve tried the pedal in different places in the signal chain, including, the effects loop of my Marshall DSL-5C but, the pop is always present when switching in the tremolo or chorus effects.
I’ve spoken to a few people now who have experienced the same problem with this pedal. It would be nice to get some feedback please!? ThanksHi. In my case, the merchant offered to replace the unit only to find that their entire stock had the same issue. EHX offered to repair/replace the unit under warranty. I ended up getting a refund and purchased a Stereo Clone Theory which is also a chorus/vibrato. The down side is that I lost the expression pedal capability; the up side is that I now have the option of stereo.
I do not know the current status of the issue with the Good Vibes pedals. I will probably buy another one once I’m satisfied that the problem is fixed. It is a problem, and not normal operation. EHX will repair out-of-warranty pedals (not vintage) for $25. Send an email to info@ehx.com.
Regards.

Thanks.
IOSEPHVSParticipantQuote:Love this looper! I was unsure if I could plug a stereo or computer or tablet into the inputs to record music or backing tracks. Is there a limit to the sound level going in? Does going over that limit damage the looper? Can you describe the recommended process for recording music from one of those devices? Thanks,
From page 3 of the instructions, the maximum allowable signal level into the audio inputs is +6 dBu. The
inputs are unbalanced.+6 dBu = 4.38 volts peak-to-peak. The most common nominal level for professional audio equipment is +4 dBu. Stick with line level audio signals and you will be fine.
I want to buy one of these but I’ve been holding out for the 1440 Looper.
Regards.
IOSEPHVSParticipantWow! What a nice pedal. I’ve never used anything other than the valves in my Marshall for distortion/overdrive. I thought I’d give the Big Muff Pi a shot, and rather than buying three or four different models (Triangle, Ram’s Head, Green Russian, Op Amp, etc.), and watching Bill Ruppert’s video for the Deluxe I decided to go with this model. I don’t have the actual pedals for comparison, but apparently it is able to produce the timbre of any/all of the Big Muffs. The settings on https://www.ehx.com/assets/blog/deluxe-big-muff-settings.pdf and http://www.kitrae.net/music/Deluxe_Big_Muff_Settings.html cover most of them. The EXP input is a plus in that it gives a Mids sweep Wah type effect as an alternate to my Cock Fight Plus.
I’ve only had it for two days so I can’t wait to learn its full potential.
One Muff to rule them all and in the Piness bind them.
IOSEPHVSParticipantI thought so, but the instructions and the video didn’t specifically address it.
Thanks.
IOSEPHVSParticipantHi.
My Deluxe Electric Mistress does not pop when engaged. Having said that, I purchased a Good Vibes a couple of months ago that popped every time I engaged it. The store that I bought it from was going to replace it, but found that their entire stock had the same problem. EHX offered to repair the pedal, but I instead opted to replace it with a Stereo Clone Theory.
Send an email to info@ehx.com.
Regards.

What is the current requirement for the EHX-2020 tuner pedal?
Thanks.
IOSEPHVSParticipantNAMM 2020 works.
IOSEPHVSParticipantHi. I did receive a response on November 21, but it went to my spam folder. I have followed the instructions in the email, and sent a reply. Thanks.

IOSEPHVSParticipantHi. It’s been fifteen days since I sent a message about this to info@ehx.com, and I still have not received a response.
Quote:Sorry!
Please write the techs at info@ehx.comIOSEPHVSParticipantI finally found the time to write something up about the all-analog Worm. First I will discuss its operation without an expression controller. There are three rotary controls, from left to right: 1) 4-position selector Wah, Phase, Trem, Vibr, 2) Range knob, and 3) Speed knob. The first allows for selection of the desired effect, The second sets the maximum value of the Range sweep, and the third sets the oscillation Rate. Additionally, there is a mini toggle switch which allows for either Auto or Manual/EXP mode.
Auto mode creates an auto-wah, auto-phaser, etc. effect where the Range and modulation Rate of the effect are set with their respective knobs. The phaser, tremolo, and vibrato can be manipulated in various combinations and there are some very nice sweet spots. The same is true with the wah, which EHX refers to as neo-wah. While there are some good wah sounds, they are not throaty like a crying wah (although I used a Good Vibes in chorus mode with the Worm’s auto-wah into my Marshall’s OD channel, and was able to dial in an incredible sound).
Manual/EXP mode disconnects the Rate knob leaving no oscillation to the audio. Instead you are left only with the ability of sweeping the Range either manually (literally by hand), or with an expression pedal. This seems to work kind of OK in producing some type of modulation on the Wah setting, but seems odd in Phase, Trem, and Vibr modes. It might be more useful if the Rate could be instead controlled with the expression pedal.
I bought the Worm primarily for a wah, and the other effects were an add-on bonus. After almost thirty days of trying to learn to like it, I returned it to the place of purchase and instead bought the EHX Cock Fight which means that while I now have an incredible wah pedal, I am out the phaser and tremolo (my Good Vibes has a vibrato option, at the expense of chorus). I’ll probably get a Bad Stone and a Pulsar down the road. Also, I may purchase another Worm in the future. It’s not a bad pedal, it just didn’t meet my current needs.
As a side note, the Worm requires a +24 volt power supply (one comes with the unit).
