OK i’ve got the problem sorted..wasn’t the tone control but a solder had come loose..is right as rain now, thanks for the help
Well, i hope you’re sat down, of 30 bidders the final price was $2,699.00 ( £!,750.00 GBP)
Hope he included a battery at that price ?
I’ll post the final price..He is also currently selling a lot of rare Muffs.
One of them is the Big Muff Triangle 1972 FS37000 PNP Trannies ..he’s decribing that version as rare and desirable/collectable
I have one of those, didn’t think it was particularly special for being PNP. ?
Can’t seem to start a new thread so i hope no one minds me posting this here:
I’ve bought a vintage v1 ‘triangle’ Big muff, 2nd edition 1972. Problem is, the tone control is barely effective, makes only minimal difference from one end of the dial to the other..the overall sound of the tone is far more towards ‘bassy’ than to treble.
Having said that, it is a great sound, but i suspect something is wrong. As it is, i am using it in conjunction with an OCD ,which can give me more treble options.
Does anyone have any ideas what might be wrong? Thanks
