HammyWhammyMember
i opened it up and found a dip switch that was a kill dry. thank you!
HammyWhammyMemberhow is it not working? I wouldn’t recommend putting the freeze in any looping switcher system because of the way the effect is engaged and how its something that adds to the guitar sound in a way like its something furthering the sound of the instrument as opposed to effecting it.
HammyWhammyMemberhow do you know which one you have?

HammyWhammyMemberit looks like the same exact thing as a deluxe memory boy, what are the differences besides the graphic and baffling price?
HammyWhammyMemberi would go for an english muffin, ploychorus, but a dd-3 isn’t one of the best digital delays. Especially out of the ones i owned and for the price. I would go for a digitech digidelay. It sounds kind of crappy, but its actually way better than my dd-3 and had more features, and its for the same price. I got mine for 20 bucks! Great pedal!
HammyWhammyMemberare these pedals you are concidering? or already own, and what kind of music do you play?
HammyWhammyMemberim pretty sure morley makes a pedal that does that.
HammyWhammyMemberwhere is the placement of the freeze in your signal chain? because if you put it last, you can freeze effects and keep your dry signal, dry! I’ve seen a lot of people running their freeze INTO the effects, but if you run the effects into the freeze, you can freeze your effects, turn them all off, and still have an effected freeze signal and dry dry signal
HammyWhammyMemberyeah, the hall setting isn’t really enough for long reverbs, i used to try to use it, but for some reason i still love my holy grail, although i don’t really have any use for it
HammyWhammyMemberi would say to put it at the end of your signal chain, since it’s technically a looper. If you just think about it, whatever effects in front of it, it will loop, and the effects after, will effect the loop.
HammyWhammyMemberalso, i think that the phase 100 and rt-20 should go before distortion, so that they dont add TOO much WOOOOSSSHHH to the distorted signal, i run my phase 90, and rt-20 that way. But if you want the big WOOOSSHHH, then keep it. Also i would recommend the re-20 going before the pulsar then into the dd-20, it sounds pretty cool
HammyWhammyMemberi think it would be great if ehx could make a simpler looper, that is more practical to bring around to gigs. It may not have as much to offer as the 2880, but an ehx performance looper would be awesome! im thinking something like the looper on the line 6 dl4, but with more loop recording time. There would be a button for rec/overdub and a play/stop button and maybe a reverse and all that kind of unnessisary stuff
