Thx, for the help, If I manage to make it work I’ll write what caused the problem. If anyone has any other ideas – please write. Cheers!
gyarugoMemberThx. Still no result Any other suggestions?
gyarugoMemberIt doesn’t help. I’m running on batteries and turning it in both directions, I ran out of range and the only thing I get is distortion or some kind of ‘police car’ noise that continues even if I stop playing. By pot on the right you mean the one on the right on the photo?
gyarugoMemberThx for the help. I connected an 18V power supply to the flanger and.. unfortunately nothing happens. I get sound with the effect on and off, one is bypass for sure, the other is a bit like if I was using a compressor, but there is no flanger effect AT ALL. I even located the wires for the batteries inside (someone has cut them, that’s why I didn’t notice them before – thx a lot for the photo – it helped to locate them) and connected 2 9V batteries – still I get no flanger at all. What can be wrong?
The guy I bought it from did a demo for me and it worked perfectly well even with a 12V adapter (or so he claims).PS When I connect a 9V power adapter I get sth like a ‘broken’ flanger effect – I mean there is sth that resembles a flanger but it sounds awful.
Can you help me? Thx in advance.gyarugo
gyarugoMemberThx Unfortunately it doesn’t have any battery connectors inside. There isn’t even any information on the polarization on the PCB.
I tried to connect a standard 9V 600 mA power supply with positive tip, and it made these “broken” sounds. So maybe the voltage is too low, but I don’t want to break it.
Here’s a link to the auction I bought it from with some photos of the inside. Maybe this will help.http://www.allegro.pl/item1005206028_electroharmonix_flanger_filter_matrix_vintage_80_s.html
