Since posting this thread, i have fixed my problem! what you need to do is buy a regulated multi voltage power adaptor which can change voltages you can find them at any dicksmith

they cost around $30 but it saves you in the end from buying $8 9v batteries.
when/if you get it; all you do is find the little plug which fits in the metal muff, set the power supply to 9 volts and your ready to rock!
