    The LPB 2ube!

The LPB 2ube is an invaluable unit. Unfortunately, the reality behind it (and I quote John Pisani loosely) is that it does have a design flaw. Of course, this flaw is easliy removed by the “Hum Debugger.” The two pedals really go hand in hand. You will boost the volume of your line and velvetize the sound with the LPB 2ube, and the hum debugger will remove the “bugs.” People complain about the Hum Debugger making their sound a little springy and empty or what ever the complaint. The fact is that these pedals go together.

The LPB 2ube is the Velvet.
The Hum Debugger is the hand that smoothes the velvet.

    Hopefully this helps.

As from the facts gathered from speaking with the doctors in the past, Electro-Harmonix pedals aren’t necessarily without design flaws, from a specific perspective. The pedals are made with an extreme nature at heart. Opposed to some pedals which only give you so much. EHX gives more possibilities for use. Additionaly, (with obviousness at heart) depending on how you set up certain pedals, the outcome will be exponentially different.

—-From my expereience the tune delay knob has a needle that pokes when pushed to the extreme.
—-The feedback knob is what it is and will give you the extremities.
—-Additionaly, the width knob starts to act up and get hairy sometimes if it is all the way up.

This unit is a work of watery art and must be taken with a little salt, it’s the ocean.

    Ok, I’ve found the answer.

Otto just gave me a buzz and let me know that the EH-1, EH-2, and EH-3 “nominations” are no longer used.

The tube specs are silk screened onto the circuit board for correct tube placement.

    Right on!
